Video of Diff Bolt Failure and Fords Response.

I’ll admit to being overly sensitive to the warranty issue. I have owned a tool, hoist, and crane company for 20 years. We’re talking expensive tools. I’ve had customers drill holes in a $10k valve body and expect me to warranty it. Then when I refuse they say they will pull all their business...

For sure sometimes. If you are one in the same then I apologize. Had I known that I would have left out the whiney biatch part.

I insulted the guy in the video, not you. Quit being so sensitive.

Yes I understand that completely and thanks for the insult. They guy is still a whiney biatch crying about warranty on a modded vehicle. Bet he has the same attitude when he breaks his trans. Those of us that are concerned about breaking things are spending the money to fix it ourselves even...

Video of Diff Bolt Failure and Fords Response.

The guy actually says something about how can my exhaust put pressure on that bolt ignoring the fact that he probably has 100 more HP than stock. It's not the exhaust causing the problem dumba$$ it's the extra HP and flogging.

Pre orders Wide Body and Front Splitter

I haven't installed mine yet but i didn't see any fitment issues when I placed it there just to see how it looked. Then again I did have it tucked under more than you do.

People that mod their powertrain, pound on their car, break something, then expect ford to warranty it suck period. Never in my life have I though about warranty coverage on parts I have modded. I blew the motor in my CTSV at Road America. Was making 700HP at the wheels. Never did I even...

13" sub in factory location and rest of stereo upgrade

Thanks for that. I have had little luck with people returning my email and calls. Found a place in Naperville but they won't tell me what they are using beyond "an o-scope and an RTA". Frustrating for sure. I can tell it needs help as it gets plenty loud but the stage is not right and it...

    Steering Wheel Play

Sucks that you had to take it back a second time but good that they fixed it. This is what really bugs me about dealers. They charge high labor rates and my expectation is you get better quality. You do not which is why I do most all of my own work. I know it was warranty but they should...

    Sun shade recommendations

Just goofing, no trunk in a suv:LOL: I agree though, stashing it in back makes it less convenient.

I'll keep that in mind when I talk to tuners, thanks!

13" sub in factory location and rest of stereo upgrade

Make no mistake, I am looking for a tuner. I am under no misconception that I am capable of tuning. I am more looking to learn about the process. My plan is to dial it in as best I can and then find a tuner to show me how bad my skill are

    I could only afford 9 per door:LOL:

    Steering Wheel Play

That's not a good sound. My guess is a loose steering wheel. Have somebody turn the wheel while looking under the hood or under the rack to see if it is isolated to the steerign wheel or possibly coming from the rack or something loose. I came from full sized trucks for a while and the...

    Stock Speakers.

Good advice above if you are on a budget. You pretty good results with 30-40% coverage. Sticking to the bigger flatter panels will make a big difference. Something behind the door speakers like black hole tile or closed cell foam makes a big difference in keeping reflections down as well...

13" sub in factory location and rest of stereo upgrade

It is alive!!!! Sub is not mounted in place but I wanted to do some testing. right now it is sitting between the second row seats as I have equipment in the stock location that I am still working with. In my haste to hear SOMETHING, I fired up the amps and did a super quick setup. I have DSP...
