    Hyperflash?

Too often the panic alarm goes off when the key's in my pocket. Not nice if it's early in the morning. My neighbors are good folks - don't want to ruin that.

Explorer ST #3 is here @ whoosh motorsports

I like the blue. I've fallen for the red, though.

    Hyperflash?

I do need to ForScan the car. I've not done that yet, since I don't want to sweat my butt off sitting in there for a hour. I need to exorcise the double-honk, A.S.S. (if I can find that), set fogs-as-cornering and two-press of the panic button and a few other things I did to the Mustang and the...

    Hyperflash?

I swapped out the rear turn signal lamps for LEDs. When I tested for hyper-flash, all was well, outside and inside. I tested several times - no hyper-flash. This morning in the way to work, the inside indicators are hyper-flashing and sometimes the "clicker" only hyper-clicking, but the outside...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Kinda forgot, I did these a week or so ago. Can't get used to relying on the cameras and sensors:

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Swapped the incandescent rear turn signal lamps with LEDs. Added these "just cause": https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08YYLYDVS?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details No, they don't enhance the paddle shifter experience.

Sync upgrade to 3.4 (I think). Supposedly just maps. From the time it took (1:40), that sounds 'bout right. Took our 90# Mastiff on the ride for the upgrade. He did well on his first real car ride. Yesterday, I took one of the pups (Sadie, the pit-mix) on errands and we went to a local car...

Faint hum when I turn the wheel

Mine makes a whine (not power-steering pump whine). I figure it's the motor for the electric steering.

Drove it to work, drove it to Sam's, WalMart & Costco, then home. Riveting stuff, I know.

    What Color is your ST?

Rapid Red here. My wife said, "Your heavy foot and a red car. What could go wrong?"

    Bad MPG

I've seen the DTE actually go up a fair bit, from puttering around town to just the basic commute then some mid-speed two-lane road. The slow(er), steady speed increased the DTE.

Need a switched fuse in the engine bay!

Fuse 127 is the amp. It would be switched.

Drove it to work, drove it home. Riveting stuff. I may miss out on Florida's gas tax holiday.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Many moons ago (1990) my Chevy 1500 needed a windshield. That was when they were just doing the glued-in method. Cost: a bit over $1,200. 'Course it was a big windshield.
