who has some tune comparison insight?

There's quite a few people that have more than one tune. Plenty have gone to ZFG after another tuner and only report excellent results. Just an observation.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Kind of interesting that after 2 years, my Steeda's are lower than that. Measure about 31 3/4" in front and 32 3/4" in back (to the wheel arch)

Explorer top selling three row SUV

In my area, in demand vehicles still command "premiums" over MSRP. To me, these are everyday vehicles... I'm just glad I'm not in the market for a new car.

Explorer top selling three row SUV

Hyundai/Kia might easily outsell the Explorer IF they could actually make enough to meet demand. Telluride and Palisade still command prices well above MSRP. Another exciting entrant though is the Mazda CX90. More details should emerge in the next few weeks...

    Oil Life Monitor

That's really unusual. The oil life for me is around 10k miles no matter how I'm driving it seems.

Calling all parents (child seat questions)

I think if you will be using the 3rd row on occasion and need 3 child seats at some point, the Explorer is not for you. It is great for 2 kids with 3rd row access (captain's chairs). Once you add that 3rd child (pretty much forced to choose the bench), then access to the 3rd row becomes a pain...

    WTB Driver side tail light

Be careful! The ST has tinted sides on the tail lights. That picture looks like it's from another trim. Personally, I think $500 is about right considering the LED is built in.

    Ford Performance Tune

Does the FP tune show gear always (ie. not manual shift mode) like other tuners not named Livernois.

    20-22 differences

If you find a 2020 or early 2021 from a Ford dealer, I would insist that they update all modules that have firmware updates. I believe Ford is actually paying for this work on unsold inventory. Unfortunately, the problems don't end there. the catalytic convertor downpipes and flex sections on...

Since you are still under factory warranty, cant you just cancel the policy?

    Forscan Again!

Don't know but make sure you have Forscan read in your entire profile with the OBDLink EX instead of using an old one made with the elm327. Also, just for kicks, update the EX to the latest firmware with your laptop.

Disabled FENG with forscan, proximity sensors sound different

What OBDII adapter are you using? You are showing about 1/3rd of the modules.

    FDRS for module updates

Yeah, mine is listed as an 05/2019 build. MY2020 are pretty much what really need these module updates. Unfortunately, while I was under the car, I noticed my driver's side cat had a weld crack and signs of leak.:cautious: Yet another MY2020 problem.

    FDRS for module updates

Yeah. The BCM removed all the BCM settings I did. and the ACM removed the FENG disable. Upon completion of the module updates, AWD and ACM still were listed as needing updates but both updates had completed successfully so just figured the servers just didn't update them? And I did have to...

Yes, pic from underneath with the cover pulled back. Ford Boss Me shows older and newer actuators: watch

    FDRS for module updates

This was my list of updateable firmware, but the dealer did update a handful of modules spring 2021. Took me about 4 hours to do the above (incl. checking for AWD question above) and re-do my Forscan coding (double honk, FENG disable, and LED rear turn).

    FDRS for module updates

Maybe too late for you but you can check for the plug by peeking under the rectangular cover to the center of the axles. you just need to remove the two bolts and one plastic retainer at the rear corner to get a sufficient look. See pic of driver side. if the front axle disconnect actuator...

    Ford Performance Tune

Yeah, same device as Livernois. It has been available to other tuners as well under the name uCal. Pretty easy to install and use, and no laptop required when attached to the car. You attach it to your PC to send and receive calibrations, which has also been dummy-proofed.
