How many miles did you put on your original breaks?

That’s pretty darn good for mileage for sure. A lot depends on the driver. My wife barely gets 30k out of her various Mercedes over the years. I tend to get reasonably good mileage out of brakes. Curious what I get out of the BBK. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Transmission Flush & Fill

Those are nice. I lost the use of my two post lift a couple years ago and bought a Quickjack 7000 on sale at Costco. It works well for use in a garage or driveway! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Transmission Flush & Fill

No doubt makes things a lot easier! When young I did plenty of driveway work (gravel) before graduating to some jack stands. Been fortunate the past 25 years to have had access to lifts and all the tools I could use. I hate having to rely on other people working on my car. Sent from my iPhone...

    Transmission Flush & Fill

Because they are too cheap imo. I would expect problems beyond worse mileage using a higher viscosity fluid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Transmission Flush & Fill

Mercon V is NOT a substitute for ULV as it is a thicker viscosity. Do not put it in your ST. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

BIG brakes for our Explorers, this time affordable

That looks right to me. I did have a heck of a time getting the connector to click and lock on the ebrake. Had to use pliers to get them tight enough to lock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

BIG brakes for our Explorers, this time affordable

I use a Bosch mastertech ii and Ford FDRS. Interestingly I had to go through the exit maintenance mode a few times to get everything working. Thinking it gets confused when you put the new caliper on. It doesn’t adjust much at all with new pads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Steeda powdercoating question

I’m considering pulling my rear springs and having them powedercoated. I love Steedas products but in this day and age there is no excuse for rusting springs in 18 months imo! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Tire Shine

I tried Durashine last year and wasn’t impressed. Looked great after cleaning and applying but it did not age well. Looking for an alternative so will be following this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Another here unhappy with the rusting on springs. Mine are about 18 months old and the rears look like yours. Great performance but appearance is a disappointment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Throttle Lag

That’s certainly what it feels like. I am out of town for a bit but I can try and catch it during a logging session when I get back late this week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That’s not a bad idea! First couple days I kept hitting it with my foot when I got out[emoji23]. Glad I used screws like you in addition to the tape. I did scuff the carbon splitter about an inch wide and 1/2 inch up from bottom. Fortunately a little clear fixed it up. If I had the Moulding I...

Installed a really slick LED strip - hope you enjoy!

Thanks for this. I just installed. Ran the strip towards the front of the top of lights and used the washers on the latch and it closes perfectly. Even keeps the gasket tight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
