Received this lovely email this morning. 100% thought it was going to say built
Also received the same email yesterday. Ordered on 12/14/21. This is my first communication from ford since then…

Can’t pass that up. I’d do the same if there was one available.

FYI, the rebates stack. Mine were $1925 total including the $1000 for ordering and got 1.9% for 60.

My salesman somehow got $2750 in rebates/incentives.

Eta disappeared on vehicle tracker site. All they tell me is microchip hold and I placed my order on July 1st.

I got a confirmation email the day I ordered, 3/10/22. It was from Ford stating the order had been placed and confirmed along with a small outline of the build. My dealer isn't sure if I will be able to track it because it was ordered in person versus on the Ford website. Does it make a difference? Can you even place an order on Ford's website without the help of a dealer?

Built. Awaiting shipment.
Then, as suspected, late last night, e-mail stating not being delivered until 2nd week in MAY!

Still in sync with my "late-April at the earliest" prediction.

To my knowledge, you do need a dealer to place an order. Even then, this is a moot point, because they have one Ford tracking website available to the public. The dealer can view a much more detailed report in their system so they are a good source of information, usually. Once you get your order number (can be provided by dealer but will be in the link Ford sends later) and VIN (Ford will assign VIN) Ford will send you an email with the link to the tracking site. You should be warned that the tracking site is garbage most days and doesn’t work half the time but there are a few other back door ways to keep an eye on it. Those are listed in this tread which I would suggest you go back through. A lot of the posts here helped me a ton in what feels like an infinite wait. Best of luck!

Did anyone see the Premium Tech Package is gone from the order page? It appears to now be part of the 401a package. You have the choice of the 10.1 screen and 14 speaker B&O for $0 option. It appears the multicontour seats are no longer an option going forward in 2022. This kinda suck for people that ordered the $1295 Premium Tech package and now its included in the $4995 401a package. Ford should discount the incoming ones that have that package but I am guessing that will not be the case.

Yes! I noticed that, too! I asked my dealer about this and he said he didn't see it that way on his end and thinks it may be a glitch. If it's accurate though, I will be adding them to my order!

Interesting, I’m seeing the same thing. I just reached out to my dealer to see what’s up.

I had the same issue when I placed my recent order. The website makes it look like the Premium Technology Package was included. I too questioned why I needed to pay $1295 for the 10" screen if it was already there. The dealer pulled out the actual ordering reference document and that was not the case. The only way to get it to show on the build / order sheet was to add the Premium Technology Package to the order. They said that the online website wasn't accurate. Who really knows....

No ETA and I put my order in July 1st. Anyone else waiting on microchip? Dealer and Ford marketing aren’t much help.

I don’t feel as bad then for not having any updates on my order that was placed on 12/14. I configured with all options, so I figure that any one of them could be the hold up. I’m giving it until May and if I still don’t have a firm date, I’m going to bail.

I don’t understand why Ford would take the time to change their build website if the changes to the order process is incorrect. I would think the dealers have old info vs the website.

Mine is still waiting. Ordered in October went in Production 11/23 and has been sitting at Manheim Auto Auction since 1/27.
