I just got my 2022 ST a couple weeks ago. But found out about Tuxmat from this site around a month ago while doing reading before buying the ford.... My wife's Toyota Highlander needed some better coverage mats so I got some for the highlander.

I like the feel and look of them a lot. But one thing I didnt like was they are pretty light weight. And because of that they use a LOT of little clips (adhesive and velcro) to hold them down at least on the highlander. It does use the 2 factory retainers on the drivers side. The provided clips aren't the greatest. Especially since the adhesive ones have already started peeling off probably due to the very high temps in my state.

Can anyone comment on how the Tuxmats are held down in the ST????

Thank you in advance.

Just to clarify... Curious if the tuxmat in the ST are held in with a lot of the clips with adhesive or velcro OR if they wedge under a piece of trim. The ones in the highlander used some of the little clips that instead of using adhesive, they clip on the mat and then wedge under a piece of factory trim. Those worked great in the Highlander but the ones that use adhesive weren't great.

there are tabs that clip onto the edge of the mat and the tab slides under trim pieces in the car. I love my tuxmats look way better then regular rubber mats
