I have a 2020 ford explorer st least then 60000 miles on it. Took and got a new battery when it said battery need to be replaced that was 300. Still was happening waking up to battery died brought a alternator which was 600. They said it a recall on a battery drain but they said my explorer don't have the recall. So should I get it fix or get rid of it?

Should have gotten a cigarette port plug-in voltage reader to see what the voltages are when running. Sounds now like it was more parasitic drain rather than battery or alternator problem. There is a TSB for 2020 Explorers about frequent deep sleeps. The solution was to update a bunch of modules. If you haven't had this done, I would seriously recommend it. I would also recommend changing battery state of charge target from 80% to 90%. You can do that via Forscan. For now, I'd use a battery tender whenever possible.

While 5 hours from home on vacation my 2020 ST did this. Jumped it off 2 morning in a row, 2nd time drove to oreillys and replaced battery. Next morning it was dead again. Jumped it off and drove 5 hours home and straight to ford dealership on July 3rd. They have no idea why it did it and Just picked it up July 29th and July 30th the engine light came on. Code reader has 3 evap leak codes.
