That isn't correct. No tint is allowed on the windshield whatsoever, and no tint (or even clear film) is allowed on the front side windows in Alberta. Nearly everyone still does it, but it doesn't mean it's legal.

As always happens when you're a little ways from home, something wants to break. We were towing a 14' enclosed trailer with some tools in it (2200lbs) on Sunday night. Cruise on, 110km/hr (68mph) in 8th gear. 5 minutes into the trip, we had just started up a bit of a grade out of a valley...

I also disabled it using Forscan, after my wife made a trip on the highway in blowing snow conditions. The active braking kept kicking on randomly, almost causing serious accidents several times due to the slick conditions.

Yes it does. However, the vehicle operated without issue before the update and we wouldn't even have gotten the update had we not brought the vehicle in for other warranty work. Whatever was in the update is a Schrodinger's cat at this point. Not worth sending off to ZFG for a re-tune at this...

The - wire on the relay is for the coil only, not for the load (light). The relay doesn't care if you open the coil circuit on the + side or the - side. If the circuit is open, there is no current through the coil and the relay does nothing. So you would be able to apply power to the + side...

Hey all; My wife had some recalls and warranty work completed on her 2020, and one of the things they did was update the PCM. Does anyone know if this overwrites my ZFG tune?

Balanced AWD would have been nice early in the day. The back end was wanting to step out on the clover-leaves (clover-leafs?). Normally fun... not as much with heavier traffic and our daughter in the car. I want to say that when it was in slippery mode on the way home the throttle response...

I don't drive it much as it is my wife's DD but the odd time I do the first few stops are usually over agressive. I'm sure if I drove it on a regular basis I'd naturally adjust to it. Sent from my SM-G991W using Tapatalk

I did use it on the way home, but by then things had warmed up more and the conditions weren't as bad so it wasn't a fair comparison. My biggest issue with this vehicle in the winter is how touchy the brakes are. They seem to lock up way too easy on the front when you're in low grip...

Took a trip into the city yesterday for an appointment. Roads were brutal, slush on top of polished ice. Had about 5 close calls, including a bit of 'off road' to avoid a truck that jacknifed in front of us. We made it through though, no damage. Sent from my SM-G991W using Tapatalk
