This feature is definitely keeping me within the speed limit. Helps a lot.

I may be asking too much, but it would be nice to put the SPEED TOLERANCE setting at different #s when in neighborhoods and when on the highway.

Neighborhoods, 5 mph over speed limit
Highway, 13 mph over speed limit

And what is with the blinking speed limit sign on the dash (so annoying). But I'm quite certain, that was the point of it!

I have noticed that if I search for something on FordPass (much easier than the in-car screen), then select "send to vehicle", there's a notification that I must have CarPlay turned off (which I do) and the phone has to be connected via USB to transfer the data. However, for me it's been transferring without the USB connection ... which makes it really convenient!! I suspect it's running through the FordPass app somehow ... not sure how it's working but it is and I like it!!

Seems like many don't know that the interior engine sound is artificial and generated/sent via the sound system.

It’s so apparent when you switch from let’s say ECO to sport not even a smooth transition. But I must add it’s the best sounding one Ford offers... the fusion sport version of it was horrendous.

I'm surprised that it can't be disabled through settings as an option. Sounds like I'm playing a video game hehe.

I only test drove it a few minutes hehe. Really cool suv

You’ll love the suv... I never really liked suvs, but I think ford nailed this one.

Are you saying if you search for a place to drive and send it to your SUV. It'll be waiting for you when you turn the SUV on or after your SUV is already on?

Can confirm this works flawlessly. Just set ford pass connect through the infotainment. I believe you need an LTE connection for it to work?

Yup ... that's happened several times already. I am really not sure exactly how this is working ... but I am NOT complaining!!

The intelligent cruise control is fun. I like how it'll steer the car for you, set your tolerance to the speed limit, and keep you a certain feet apart from the car in front of you. But I found the warning signal from the dashboard indicating your hands are not on the wheel shows up way too much and is annoying. This whole time, I thought it was hand placement on the steering wheel. But actually, you just have to 'jiggle the steering wheel left and right' to indicate you still have control. Not enough to turn the car but enough to stop the dashboard indicator warning. Simple solution but still annoying.

Fun fact if you leave that warning on long enough, the car will slowly come to a stop and out the 4 ways on.

My previous car 17 Fusion sport I was able to roll the windows up/down using the key fob (Lock/unlock) button.

Just found out the explorer only does down?

I had this feature on a model year 2002 BMW 3 series. They only went down and the reason was so that you didn't accidentally close them if you had a pet or child in the car.

Just learned yesterday that putting on a rack and some bicycles WILL trigger the reverse brake assist! I thought I slammed the bikes into the garage roof or something! All clear, tried reversing again and the same thing happened, strong sudden stop. I laughed when I realized what the problem was and then had to turn it off manually. it'd be nice if you could just disable it temporarily or tell it you've got a bike rack on.

I'm guessing the '4 way blinkers'?

That's news. I wish it was a little less annoying.

Yes blinkers. Tried it out first day I got it... in my fusion it will just keep warning you but still keep driving.

That sounds like the safest option for the auto-driving. Imagine passing out and the car comes to a complete stop for you. Then alerts those around you. Smart.

after 6 months of ownership, today i noticed that the HVAC fan speed slows down when you start a phone conversation! The speed kicks right back up once you finish the call. Nice way to reduce background noise during calls.
*mind blown*

Going from Infotainment Ver 3.4 Build 19101 to Build 20136, I noticed the DUAL option (for dual temperature in the front seats) is missing from when you click the MENU button.

But how does one turn off the DUAL option (when you drive alone)? I found the easiest way to do it is to turn your HVAC off & on again. The HVAC system defaults at DUAL being off.

The temperature at the top corners of the display are gone too since the update!
