Is it confirmed that none of the builds going forward will include rear climate controls? If so, that’s lame and will probably be a dealbreaker for me.

I was told yesterday that this is a temporary halt and that they will be installed in 6-9 months once they are available .... free of charge of course.

Here's a document from Ford regarding multi-contour seating.... note how they are axing it for fleet and stock orders but for retail orders (custom), they still plan to honor them per availability. I received a revised build sheet noting the credit for the rear climate controls but no mention/credit for the seats. My dealer feels I will get them and my build date is in two few weeks.

OMG. I should have come and read this thread long ago....it has so much VALUABLE info.....though, it certainly gives me even less hope. I guess I just need to "get in line" for my ride of agony and wait.

Ordered 8 Jan 22
Built 14 March 22
Sitting in Chicago ever since.....with dealer notices of "arriving 3-8 April"....then "arriving 23-29 April"....and now today, MAYBE by 8 May.

But now I've read through this thread...and seen the posts like people waiting TEN MONTHS SINCE JULY LAST YEAR! OMG. I thought I'd lost patience and faith. I can ONLY IMAGINE...waiting that long. I'm not going to do it. But I also saw the post where someone bought one on a lot, but can't take it home due to the recall. So I now know my Plan B...which was to do just that....probably doesn't work either.

I now know....sadly.....I'm probably not getting a new ST....no matter HOW BAD....I want it. It's just not going to happen any time soon. And I'm NOT waiting.....10 months.......... May 8 will be 4 months. I think that's about the end of the line for me. Sounds like many here waited 5 months or more. I just can't do that......patience isn't one of my virtues unfortunately!

On Sat. (4/23/22) I took matters into my own hands because I was done with the unknown and patience simply ran out.

Found a '21 Aviator that fit the needs that the ST order was going to fill and bought it. So, if anyone in the Twin Cities area is looking for a loaded Stone Blue ST I can connect you with my sales person, she'll have a cancelled order.

Last I heard  the delivery was still suppose to be early May.
I'm interested! I'll private message you!

Holy eff though! I cannot imagine waiting that long!

Seriously at this point, I'd cut my losses. My wife and I are expecting and hoping for ours by September, but we haven't even received our VIN yet...

- Ordered on January 22nd
- Received an email about delays sometime last month
- Dealer reached out last week about removing the multi-contour seats --- we declined since removing would put us below the grand Cherokee we were looking at feature-wise
- Haven't heard anything new on the order end...

I feel so so bad for those that have been waiting since October! Like how!!? What is so special about those orders vs the ones that go through in a couple of months!? It's crazy.
Honestly it really feels like their is a lot of weight on dealer allocations on the actual priority of customer orders. All customer orders should have equal weight! Seems insane!

Nah .... i ordered mine from a small out of state dealer in Idaho on Feb. 1 Was informed it will go into production May 9. It's just all timing. I think the guys who ordered late last year took the brunt of supply chain issues plus now a recall issue.

Does the recall work have to be completed before they leave Ford's lots now? That would suck even more! Not only is it no longer just pop some parts in, they have to take each vehicle out off the lot and put them on the line or lift!? Dang that sucks...

Is the recall the one about the rear diff shearing the bolts or is something else?

The vehicles after mine were being fully built. During my build they didn't have all the parts so they moved it off site where its now been since January. My order was even put high priority and buying through A plan.
