My ST's name is Opal, as the metallic bits in the Star White paint have a opal gemstone effect in the sunlight. My paint on top, pic of an opal on the bottom.

My vehicles all have no gender and no name.
However, I am trying to train the wife from calling it "the truck".

I have loathed SUV's for years, but I made an exception for the ST.

I almost bought a white one but I’ve had 2 white Platinum trucks in a row, a 15 F250 and a 16 F150.
One was Betty and one was Walter.
Not many good names for a silver truck.

@NEW2ST, As the upholstery defects multiply, mine will be following close behind yours.

What upholstery defects are you experiencing?

First ST was Bruce and the replacement is Bort. It's my neighbor's dog's name. WTH...

Drivers seat is splitting along the front seam. The right A pillar trim was not installed correctly at the Chicago facility. It has several bent or broken mounting tabs. Plastic trim panel on outside of drivers seat is being replaced for the second time. There is a defect in the plastic that is causing a mounting tab to pull completely away from the main piece. The svc mgr showed me where the injection mold was not full. It had a cavity in the plastic.

Whitey.

as in Whitey Ford, a long ago Yankees player.
We had a giant White expedition in 2009 and that was what we and the kids called it. When I got this White ST, we brought the name back.
