Great - now my 3 week old to me 25 ST had about an inch of water in it on the passenger side foot well. I found it when I went to install the security plus alarm. Not a good thing to discover. I’ve dried it out but a large rain storm is coming this weekend. Cowling looks to be inserted properly. Not sure about the sunroof drains but I’ll check the bladder when I get some time.

Just great…

Just checked the bladders and they are clear. Cowl was firmly attached to the windshield with no obvious areas of being loose. I did see evidence that it had been opened before though. And I lost one of those clips somewhere in the engine bay after the cowl popped up - I guess it will meet me in the afterlife.

That only leaves me the sunroof drains? Can I blow this out with a computer cleaner can of compressed air?

Has anyone else that had this problem figured out how to fix it? I'm stumpped on how the water is getting up over the pinch weld!

Not sure if I can help you, but I did some digging around today since I was running wires to my new subwoofer set up. It rained yesterday, so as I pulled the carpet back on the passenger side, I found about another half inch of water in the floor board. I dried that up as much as possible, and started checking for grommets to run my power wire. Lo and behold, the sunroof drain plug grommet was loose (pulled out) and dripping water onto the interior fire wall. Needless to say, I immediately plugged that back in, which took about 5 mins of cajoling. I’ll wait on my sunroof drain cleaner from Amazon later today to check to make sure the duct is clear, but that just pissed me off! Drain plug was up by the orange arrow, above ambient light panel. Confirmed it pushed through to engine compartment when I was running my 12v wires.

Hopefully that fixes that. But I had to pull off the footwell panels and take out the glove box to see well back there. You may have to do some digging.

It's not coming from under the dash. Nothing is wet under there. It seems to be coming in from the sill area. That's what the picture I posted is of. Somehow water is getting up over the pinch weld and running down to the floorboard. I put the hose up on the roof and let the water run over the top of the door but didn't see any coming in. I can't figure it out!
