Hey Everyone,
So most of my cars have pinstripes because my Dad put pinstripes on all his cars so I guess now it's a family tradition. I was just wondering if anyone had put a pinstripe on the Explore ST and how it came out. I'm sure I can figure something out but at first glance it does not appear the body lines lend themselves to a pinstripe. Anyone have any thoughts, hope your all well.

Yep, added subtle stripes on on both sides from an incredibly talented artist. It just looks good... 1786680260400.png

Thanks man, that looks good, pretty color I don't think I've seen that before. Now if I can just find someone to do it, I went to two places today, one said they where to much of a perfectionist to do pinstriping and the other would only do painted ones. It is becoming a lost art. But thanks again.

The color is Silver Spruce, which was only offered on the MY20 rides, and with which, after owning a multitude of run-of-the-mill blue, grey, white, black, and silver vehicles I absolutely fell in love.

The pinstripes were done by a local artist who works full-time at a body shop, but who probably makes a small fortune doing this kind of flawless work.

In case anyone is interested you can find a straight line to pinstripe a 2025 Explorer and it can look really good.. It's cloudy here and they don't show up on camera unless you get really close. The way he ended is out of context here but if you see it on the truck it makes since because it's the same angle as the body seam and hatch seam. Anyway this is what I did to my ST today.

Looks great
Used to be a guy in the louisville ky area that did paint and pin striping on show cars.
I had him do a couple of cars for me years ago. No sure who does this now since he passed away

Thanks I appreciate that, I wanted something subtle and we tried a few different colors but as soon as we put that one on it was like, Yea that's it. Oddly it's easier to find someone around here to do painted stripes than vinyl ones, I like the 3D aspect of the vinyl ones on newer cars.
