What I am really interested in is changing the heated steering wheel temperature. My wheel seems to barely get warm and I want to see what the settings are of it in forscan. However, I was unable to locate it within forscan. Would you have any insight on where these settings are?
That might be a mechanical issue, and not necessarily a ForScan setting that needs to be adjusted. I would imagine if there are settings for it, they would be in the HVAC module as that's where the heated seat temps are.

My steering wheel gets plenty hot within a min or two and I end up turning it off. What I need to do before winter is play with the heated seat temps. The hottest setting is a bit too hot. So i'd like to drop that down a tad, and bump the middle setting temp up a little too.

Unfortunately in my HVAC module, the only settings I have are to disable/enable to HSW. There is the actual coding HVAC module but I have no idea what the code means.

This is on my to-do list so let me poke around and see what I can find. Chilly AM today and it annoys me that the highest seat heater temp is uncomfortably hot.

EDIT: I see the same. Pulling a few as_builts from the Ford website using Explorer VIN's i've found for sale, i don't think temp control is enabled on the wheel. I could be wrong.

I do see it for the seats. 55C(131F) , 46C (114F) and 35C(95F) seem to be the defaults. I changed mine to 52, 48 and 35. Lets see how that works.

Really unfortunate! I'm not sure if the HSW is just not good by default or if it's defective.
