My first TPMS went bad after 5 years and a few months. The dealer service advisor told me it was covered by my extended warranty but it would cost me $100 deductible. I decided to wait until all four sensors went bad so it would only cost $100 for all four to be replaced. After waiting about 4 or 5 months all four TPMS sensors were finally dead. I brought my ST in for the recall and had all four sensors replaced for $100. While servicing my ST the technician found 2 oil leaks that were covered with my warranty, oil pan seal and transfer case seal. They also had to replace the oil since the oil pan was removed. All this cost me only $100, I felt relieved for the minimal cost.
