Oddly enough, mine is almost opposite of OP’s… mine is not a 2025 (2020) but this is how I had it set before I did a rip and replace on the factory speakers and amp. My music is all over the place and this works pretty well for all of it… a few in my playlist are The Prodigy, Amaranthe, Trivium, Megadeth, Blink 182, The Cars, The Cult, Deftones, Five Finger Death Punch, Fozzy, Ghost, Hollywood Undead, Korn, Ministry, Queens of the Stone Age, Royal Blood, Scorpions, Sublime, Zero 9:36, and last but not least… The Spinners.

in the end, I think everyone has their own tastes in sound so everyone will set theirs up differently.
I've confirmed that 2020 is significantly different from the 2025. The speaker placement is very different. Also, a couple people online said that they had both a 2020 and then a newer 2025-2026, and they thought it was a big difference between older and newer B&O systems. So, apologies that my thread didn't help for 2020.

They’re not significantly different. The same speakers with the front tweeters moved to the dash instead of the doors. I’ve listened to and “tuned” both on multiple occasions…they’re effectively the same.

The tweeter location makes them audibly different.

It really doesn’t. It’s a few inches forward from the upper door location in older cars. Tweeter cues will affect stage width and not much else. I’ve messed with both and the differences are very minor at best.

off axis vs. on-axis. I've had owned both stock systems for a while before changing them up. There is an audible difference to me. Surprised you would argue position of the tweeters doesn't matter.

Dispersion pattern is a big part of it. That’s why they used a soft dome on the off axis doors but continue to use them in the dash. I didn’t say the position doesn’t matter…I said it’s not that different. Marginally better upper end response but anything below 10-12 kHz likely measures the same. Audibly I don’t find them much different at all and certainly not “significantly” different as mentioned earlier.

I've already confessed previously on this thread to having a tin ear and not being very discriminating when it comes to car audio. I did try the OP's suggestions for adjusting the sound settings (but did not install any new hardware). To me he's right and it does sound better than whatever was set at the factory. Moving the fade back to the second row headrest made the biggest improvement from what I can tell. I'll leave the debate over the technicalities to the experts here.
