New guy here, wife just purchased a 26 ST.
Gorgeous race red. She told me I can't spend any money on this one as it's hers and I usually drop $10-15k in accessorizing our vehicles. But we'll see how this goes. Probably going to get the navik's device as the hands free in this thing is terrible. Works great in my other fords. This new Google system is a terrible downgrade from sync3. Any way glad to meet you all.

To me the Google based system is far superior system to Sync3. Sync3 is a super old system.

Sync 3 might be old, but it works. You cannot choose your music hands free with the new Google system even had problems making hands free calls on the new system. Young people may like this google technology stuff. At 66 and being a retired auto tech. I find it absolutely annoying. And opened a customer dissatisfaction case with Ford Customer care within 3 days of the purchase. Other than the Google system we absolutely love the ST.

Seems like a learning curve issue. I like Sync3 too, don’t get me wrong, just I know it’s an old system.

Not a learning curve. Other members have reported the same problem. Put a usb full of music on a thumb drive and try to access it while driving. Several others have complained also. The system doesn't work as intended.
