Got one in. Didn't realise the flex pipe is right there. We just moved it back a bit and put the Ultra Quiet right in. Stretched the opening to fit over the DP and clampped the back side. Not sure if I want to clamp the front or just weld it on. Leaning towards welding it.

Well that was an easy task! I got them both in but forgot to take a picture before taking it down. Sound is so much better! It's real quiet in the car. Sounds the same when you get into the throttle though. I did a before and after video but I don't know how to post them here. 100% worth it though!

Since putting them in Wednesday, there is a really noticeable vibration when I let off the throttle. Not immediately but, once it idles down to about 2K it starts. There’s also a rattle towards the passenger side back associated with it. Did anyone else experience this or add hangers for the new resonators?

I got no extra noise nor did I install hangers for mine. They were slip fit with band clamp.

Did you install the Ultra Quiets or the bottle style? I’m thinking the added weight between the DP’s and flex joint is causing it bounce, for lack of a better word, and vibrate. I slipped them over the DP’s and used band clamps on the back end where it butt’s up. Going back on the lift tomorrow morning to see if we can figure out a fix.

You don’t need more hangers. You need to double check your install and make sure you didnt cause something to make contact when it’s hot. You said you slipped them over the DP’s and clamped the back…you did clamp the front also, right?

I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but, I’m not that dull! LOL! I would think if it was making contact it would vibrate all the time but, it doesn’t. The only difference in what I did compared to what you did is the placement of the flex pipe. In your picture, the flex pipe is back more. I’m going to double check everything this morning and try to figure it out.

Found it! Right rear exhaust mount.

It must have been just barely hanging on until we shifted the exhaust. I bent the hanger a little bit so it’s not resting on the mount but, I’m gonna need a new one.

You don’t need a new one. Take them off and flip them side to side. When you added the new stuff, you shifted the whole thing back onto the hanger when it gets hot it grows and hits it even harder.
