Well, that's crazy. Mine worked this morning. Haven't seen any "problems" yet...

Went to lunch and they were working again. Maybe the module didn't initialize or wake up this morning.

It may not even be related to the update

There are so many electronics in these things now. Both good and bad for the owners. I love it, but I also bought the 60k bumper to bumper.

Or... the issue could be due to this recall notice I just received. Apparently the dome light is a affected item per this letter.

I went to run an errand a moment ago, and the main screen popped up saying that another update would be installed tomorrow morning at 1 AM.

Did your software update change on the screen how you adjust rear air control?

Last week's? I honestly haven't looked. I have not paid much attention to that menu, and may not notice if it has been changed.

It has an arrow at the bottom. It doesn’t bring you to a full screen control anymore. I honestly think the old version was better.

Interesting. I'll look on the way home. I did look at it when I first got it.

Did the "one-touch" window update in my ST the other day, no problems to report. (y)

On a somewhat related note, since the NHTSA letter for recall " 25V543 " was also posted in this thread - a few of our April built PIUs in our fleet just received the same letter for the above ( only one of the cars has displayed the "trailer" error msg on the dashboard so far, no other symptoms to report ).

YMMV

I agree completely! The full screen was easier to understand and had everything at your finger tips. I would love to talk to the designer(s) to find out if they ever used some of the features they change. Such a shame...

Anyone know if it’s possible to have the dealer roll-back the software update? I would never have allowed this update had I known they were going to digitally de-content the vehicle.

I feel like this updated interface makes the car feel cheaper, it is just so basic and lacks the same functionality as the previous version. The old animation was much more unique, and allowed you to select temperature or fan speed anywhere in the range with just one touch

Also, I noticed another thread you said you have a PP2, nice to see another PP2 owner in here. Are you on the PP2 owner’s FB group? I also have a 2019, in Need for Green, hence the username haha

LMAO. Small world. Here is mine... Was my DD until 2023. Sold it because I started driving a lot for work. 2019 NFG PP2. Had a Borla exhaust, Lund tune, Rousch CAI and a JL audio speaker system.

Nice! Sorry to hear it’s gone, but yeah I love it, and idk if I could ever get rid of it because of the color. FullSizeRender.jpeg Corsa Longtubes, Corsa sport catback, Lund e85, Barton Hybrid 3 trans mounted, and probably about 80% of the BMR catalog underneath haha. Just over 18k miles so far. Next to the explorer about a week after I bought it and just finished installing the Thermal 3”
