New to the Ford Explorer ST and already a question

Hey all, recently picked up a 2023 Ford Explorer ST with 40K miles very clean inside and out. I have been enjoying the car a ton getting to know the ins and outs.

My first question is of course about the rear differential and its weak-points. How necessary is it to reenforce the differential and how substantial does it need to be? I am not taking this car to the track, and though I may be giving it a fun drive here and there I'm not really planning on doing launches either. It's going to be the family car for my wife and I and our kid.

or the FenFab Diffy stiffy (though I'm not too keen on drilling holes in the subframe)

You don't want the Diffy Stiffy. Plenty has been written on this forum about the failure rate for cars that are really launching. Now, if you're not pushing it hard, you probably don't need anything. Leathal's product is a lot like Houston Speed Freaks version. You may want to look at the Steeda as well.
