New rotor / brake pad break in

So I recently changed my whole brake setup this past weekend with new rotors and pads

The rotors I used were from brake performance and I tried to follow the break in instructions as best as I could with nyc traffic

Im not sure if the brakes are bed in properly cause im getting alot of streaks, I did notice from a few videos alot of peoples rotors have no streaks whatsoever so i repeated the process again

Anyone with experience in this know if its an issue? the rear rotors look pretty uniform though, just the fronts look streaky

That contact patch looks awfully small on the rotor. Since bedding is critical to brake performance and longevity I would consider doing it again.

You can clean the rotors by doing several high speed braking events back to back. I usually do three 80-20 hard braking events back to back. You can also pull the rotors and clean them up with sandpaper.

Then do the normal bedding. For me that has always been 10-20 moderate 36-10mph stops with 30-60 seconds between for cooling. Then 10 or so moderate to firm stops from 50-10 with cooling time.

Remember the objective of bedding is to evenly transfer friction material on the rotor.
