I am wondering if anyone has figured out how to make at least one of the cigarette lighter 12V power outlets always on (when ignition/acc is off). By default, the system turns off all the outlets when the ignition is turned off and a door is opened. I was unable to find any relevant setting in the system menu. I am wondering if there is a way to make it work either with Forscan or some kind of a trick in a fuse box (I know some VWs allow that by a simple fuse move).

I don't think u need any tricks to make that work just find a circuit that stays hot in the fuse box and run a wire from there to either new lighter plugs or you could change the wires from the one u want to stay on..

Thank you. I think of rewiring as a last resort. Only if it cannot be done with configuration settings.
