How do I reset the modem?

Just had a new battery replaced after 5 years. I lost the modem during battery saver mode.
I've performed a battery reset and reset the computer several times per fords instructions.

Is there a DIY approach or do I bring it in to the dealer?

I'd drive it a while and see if anything changes then dealer.
