Headlight Salvageable?

Mixed up my acetone towel and alcohol towel when cleaning off some oxidation on the top flat part of my headlights. Acetone immediately ate right into the top layer. Anyone know if a headlight restoration kit will fix it or am I SOL?

I would also like to know. The top of my headlights have started to lightly peel.
