Has anyone had success disabling the fake engine noise (FENG) on 2025 with a Job 2+ build date, or 2026 models?

Been doing a lot of research and am planning on buying a 2025 or 2026 ST in the near future. I've read that people are having mixed success with disabling FENG on 2025's with Job 2 or newer build dates. It's my biggest reservation/worry about getting the vehicle, as if I don't like it I want to be able to turn it off. I would just get a low mileage '24 where I know you can turn it off in Forscan, but I want the '25 or '26 for the horizontal screen and especially bluecruise. Some people have reported that in the 14 speaker B&O sound system package the FENG is a lot less pronounced. Any feedback from people who were able to turn it off in 2025 Job 2 or newer and 2026 models is greatly appreciated.

No workarounds yet. It’s odd.

Is there a way to physically unplug the module? or will that mess with active noise cancelation as well. I see there's instructions to change it on the 2025 spreadsheet, but I guess those just don't work for Job 2 or newer? I really want to buy this car, but I'm trying to locating a black job 1 2025 with low mileage and there aren't many examples within 300 miles of me. Is the FENG pretty quiet in normal/eco to the point where I could get used to it? I've heard its a lot quieter in eco/normal. I think it sounds good in sport its just something about it being fake that bothers me.

Well if you unplug the module, the car might not even drive lol. It’s the Body Control Module. FENG really isn’t bad, a lot of people make it worse out than it actually is. I dare say it is not even bad.
