I've been using the YEYSUA for a couple of months and it's pretty good, occasionally through Waze using Apple carplay it's a little slow to respond to touches when replying to a popup but overall I like it. I am using an iPhone 16, don't know how earlier phones will respond. The one negative about not using a cord is, occasionally using the wireless charge station under the arm rest, I sometimes forget it's not in my pocket when leaving the car.

Got it yesterday from Amazon, initially worked well in the quick test. But after two drives, ran into pretty bad lag. Another issue I encountered is I had to unplug it and plug it back in when getting into the car. It doesn’t automatically connect to my phone. Maybe there’s a timing issue (when I unlock and open door and by the time the phone is close enough to connect or the phone connects to the car first on BT before the dongle).

so far I am probably going to return it. We’ll see how it is in the drive home from work.

Try removing the Ford BT connection, leaving the smartDongle connection to be the interface.

Got mine yesterday. So far, so good, but only a handful of drives.

It does show the music info on the cluster and updates as I change the songs.

SO far no complaints, but i'm only into this for $9.

Unfortunately, I will be returning mine. Disabling BT to the vehicle fixed the connection issue; however, I get a lot of delay with Waze, Google Maps, and Apple Music. Delays can be anywhere from 2-3 seconds up to 10 seconds. I tried relocating the phone closer to the dongle with no change in results, rebooting my phone, leaving the cover open in case the dongle is getting too hot, etc. For $10, it was worth a shot! I have an iPhone 15 Pro.

That's a bummer. I'm running mine with a Iphone 14 pro max and am not seeing these issues at all. Still leaving BT on. Initial hookup is pretty quick and the only delay I see is maybe a 1/4 second delay when i skip tracks vs when I use the hardwire. My music titles show up on the cluster as well.

Just to clarify however, i'm not on the full-screen mod yet. I'm about to do the install in the next few days...hence why I am in this thread.

It will slow down a little bit with the full screen mod due to the extra screen area, with BT or wired, but the new layout is worth it.
