Hi everyone,

I just picked up a 2025 ST. I’m curious if anyone has noticed if the FENG (Fake Engine Noise) or the ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) interferes with the clarity of the 14-speaker B&O sound system?

If you have noticed an issue, is it one specifically causing the problem, or do both need to be disabled to get the best audio quality? Thanks for the help!

Any mods via FORSCAN have been hit or miss, you should check the '25 Forscan thread for posts regarding it. As for me I just slapped on CVFAB Downpipes & a Thermal R&D 3" exhaust and it became a moot issue.

That setup sounds awesome, but I’m actually coming at this from an audio quality perspective rather than exhaust tone. On my previous BMW, the fake engine noise frequencies clashed with the music and muddied the sound system.

I'm hoping to disable the FENG/ANC purely to clean up the signal for the B&O speakers, rather than to change how the engine sounds. I’ll definitely check that '25 ForScan thread to see if anyone has cracked the code for the audio processing yet. Thanks!

Audio quality wise it isn’t a noticeable difference, just obviously a quieter interior without it. Also BTW, it seems Job 2 2025s and newer you can’t disable FENG anyway.
