What's up guys let's get some input on this debate.
I ordered my new 26 from a 22 model.
I am putting together my mod list and am thinking on changing some things.
First is Eibach springs again just like on the old one, but I was thinking of just keeping the stock sway bar.
I mean after its lowered does it really matter that much as I'm not taking quick corners just concerned with 0-60 1/4-mile times.
I'm keeping my tuner device SCT and tuning with Matt at Gearhead again and tuned for E50 but am thinking of keeping stock intake instead of reusing the AFE intake.
I learned a lot from this forum and found that some mods just aren't worth the money and some of course are needed like intercooler/tune etc.

If you’re concerned with 0-60 and stability I find these to be 100% necessary:
Rear swaybar set to firm
Steeda rear subframe bushing braces
FenFab billet vertical links
Steeda adjustable toe links
ID Speed diff brace

Adding those parts makes a night and day difference.

The 22 has a AWR brace with the JXB bushing insert. I also have the Steeda subframe inserts but feel like those really added to a rough ride.

I'm doing the JXB insert again, but not the subframe bushing inserts.

Do you want good 1/4 mile times or a soft ride? If you want the best times, you’re going to have to firm things up. If you want the best ride, you’re not going to have the best times.

If you are ordering a 2026, you will undoubtedly be getting one with a gas particulate filter. I wonder what impact that will have on aftermarket tuning. Is it even worth having a tune?

Congrats on the 26! Definitely suggest the rear sway bar, I like the AFE or the HSF since they both have greasable fittings. When you're ready to get some parts on order, let me know happy to extend a forum member discount!

Interesting, tell me more as this is the first I am hearing about this.

Some parts have already been ordered and delivered but I will definitely look to your site for future orders.

I understand you can't have the best of both worlds; I'm just trying to find that middle ground. The 22 had to have a new differential at 61k and one new turbo at 56k. 71k on it now and it runs great, but wanted the better interior. On an e50 tune I got a best time of 11.80 which I was happy with.
