Looking to get back into a new ST, I wanted to see what has changed in terms of how you tune them? Can I use an SCT tuner still?

Yes but it has to be the BDX. Not the best device to be using though, HPTuners is worlds bettter

Be advised, as of today, Cobb doesn't tune 2025+ ST's

Good to know - I had used the GearHead AO tube previously. If I get the SCT BDX can I still use that tune? For the price I think it’s probably the best. But could be wrong.

If double the price I can go ZFG, he does have 2025+ listed on his site. But curious the other options

How does Livernois compare to ZFG. Says +100hp & 115tq… ZFG about the same but double the price.

Is ZFG worth double the price if money is a concern? I could use that extra money towards an intercooler or intake if it’s about the same..

You can’t use the same tune, no.

You keep saying ZFG is double the price but I don’t see that anywhere. It’s only about $280 bucks more and you get a better tuning device.

Have used Lund, PBD, Livernois and ZFG on different Fords. Been really impressed with ZFG.

Livernois is $699 & ZFG showed close to $1200

The Livernois is $700 and the basic ZFG tune that is comparable to Livernois is $970. The $1200 option is the DMS option, which is something I’d recommend but it is on a different level then Livernois.

Ah I see, you are correct I was looking at the 2021-2024. I do see now that the Livernois 2025 tune is $100 more @ $699.

So I guess is ZFG worth the extra $300?

Or is there a place to get a tuning device cheaper for the ZFG tune?

For the device alone I say yes. Can’t really find it much cheaper since you have to get credits anyway.
