Steeda vs H&R vs Eibach decision

No, it would not be true. Axle centerline to fender arch would be identical no matter how big or small of a tire you installed. Maybe you’re not understanding the process. I’m not measuring any part of the tire and ride height isn’t even a part of the question, I’m measuring the suspension...

Steeda vs H&R vs Eibach decision

Yes, it’s the more accurate and proper way. For your way to work each car would need to at minimum have the same exact size tire with the same tire pressure and the same tread depth. Axle centerline to fender arch would be the same no matter what. It’s the industry standard if you will for...

    What’s this Button Do?

    It’s a sensor, not a button.

For accurate comparisons you measure from the axle centerline to the fender arch.

    Aftermarket/OEM 2nd Row Window Shades for '25 Job 2

Buy a couple of rear door panels and the window trim with the hooks built in off eBay. Wouldn’t take 30 minutes to swap it all out.

    TPMS sensor reset

Luck has nothing to do with it. That’s how a properly functioning car works. I recently put a whole new, never mounted set of wheels, tires and sensors on my car…within 1/4 mile everything was function as it should. Also just talked someone through this last night when they swapped on oem 21’s...

    Proper alignment chart?

It’s -.5° and the decimal is extremely important. if they don’t know where to adjust after the car has been out for over 5 years I’m not sure I’d trust them to begin with but it’s the upper control arm where it bolts to the frame. They’ll have to reach up high. After that it’s just a normal...

    Exhaust tips

Simple to me but I can also weld. If you can’t or don’t have access it’s simple for any muffler shop.

    Exhaust tips

4” OD with a 2.25” inlet about 9” long…eBay is full of them.

My problem with front tinted windows...

Being able to see a driver doesn’t mean shit. Tires don’t lie…ever. Watch the tires of you wanna know what a car is doing.

    Aviator 2nd row console

Make sure it has all the parts. I’ve seen way too many missing the mounting bracket and other stuff….things that cost a pile to add in addition to the trim pieces you’ll have to replace to get the colors right.

    Aviator 2nd row console

It costs a fortune to reskin one the right color. It took well over a year to gather all the parts new but I got exactly what I wanted that way. It was over $2K though.

    TPMS sensor reset

Most of that is incorrect. The 20-24 cars will auto-learn any 315 MHz sensor. No tools or procedures are needed.

    Wider tires?

Eibachs sit pretty low. I’d run the 35 series with those springs. The 40 will almost certainly rub.

Aftermarket steering wheel. Anyone install one?

Plenty of people have. I chose to re-cover mine to make it fatter but those carbon wheels are out there as well. Make sure you get one that’s heated if that’s something you want to retain.

81 days at dealer for our 21 ExpST... fixed, finally??

I just wanna know how you’re putting eight people in an explorer that can only be configured for seven people maximum?

    FADA leak.

I’m gonna do the whole FADA delete thing soon…mine leaks too so I might as well get a problem prone part out of the car completely.

    Lincoln Aviator shocks, struts, springs

They have both but if you want soft you want the air version. If you just wanna throw on softer springs and shit get the parts from a Platinum or Limited.
