    Down pipes void warranty??

    Basically if you have engine/turbo/exhaust issues and they’re spotted, they could be used to deny warranty work. There’s no cut and dry answer though.

    My guess is dealers for warranty work just slap in a whole strut assembly because it’s so easy. That’s like 6 bolts and 15 minutes vs having to disassemble the strut to swap the bearing.

    The strut mount is a single piece of metal. The bearing slips over it. Clunking is usually the bearing itself. In rare cases it can be the bearing against the mount but there’s nothing to physically go wrong with the mount itself.

    Those are not designed by Steeda. Those are oem Ford parts sold by Steeda. Always have been. Aside from that the clunking you hear is much more likely to be the strut bearing, not the strut itself.

    Nope…read the fine print. Those are oem ST struts to bring other models up to ST handling. Just get the cheap oem PIU struts and call it a day.

    Yea…and BC themselves say the ST kit isn’t for hard use so someone looking for a kit to thrash on may want to look elsewhere.

    There are no aftermarket replacement struts available. There are coilovers but the stuff that’s been on the market is trash and BC Racing is brand new and unknown at this point.

    The outlet of the oem IC changed so the 20-24 parts don’t fit. I think maybe CV Fab has piping ready to go now.

    Bang for the buck I don’t think the early ST’s can be beat…if you liked yours and you come out good I’d look for another one and enjoy that one too. The 25’s fell off in the looks and seat departments to me…I just don’t like them. I have a thing for GTI’s. We had one we loved that got totaled...

    That’s not a tune on any level. It’s a fancy boost fooler. They also do nothing for the transmission and IMO should be avoided just like the JB4. Adding power to the 10R60 without controlling the torque is asking for problems.
