Any significant audio hardware changes for ‘25 w 14 speaker system?

What was lacking that made you do a front sub? In 90% of cars, tuning is what’s needed more than adding equipment.

    Wider tires?

If you want dead flush on oem 21’s, 295/40’s and rear camber set to -.5° with 1” spacers all around is perfect. If you’re not into cutting the studs use Eibach 30mm spacers…they’ll push the wheels out less than 5mm over a 1” spacer and still look great. 1.25’s are never the answer.

2025 ST Factory Windshield Wipers Chatter...

Clean the blades with denatured alcohol and clean the glass dry with 0000 steel wool. That should take care of it.

    Dashboard Junkies

Does nothing for me at all. I’m not a fan of all the full digital stuff…there’s no life to it. When my ST goes to its grave I’ll be going back to a Mk7.5 Golf R…it was the perfect blend of digital and analog. We have a Mk8 GTI and I despise the interior…but it’s the wife’s so I don’t really...

    Audio system prep...sound deadening project.

I use one of those small snap blade retractable knives…they have a really nice, long pointed end that slips right through. Whatever you do…don’t ever try to drill through it. I learned that the hard way.

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

The Timberline version is the only one that comes apart. The normal blue ovals do not. For the TL over you just cut the ends off the melted plastic pins and it pops apart.

    SS-Tuning Website?

    They’re a reputable company if that’s what you’re asking.

Time sensitive help needed, RE: Lowering using Eibach

It’s astounding how many shops don’t know how to align these things 5 years in.

Time sensitive help needed, RE: Lowering using Eibach

It’s a slotted connection, not a cam or eccentric, but otherwise correct.

Someone tell me I'd be crazy to not delete the FADA

I don’t even have a spare…I’m deleting it soon. Mine is leaking anyway so I might as well get rid of the whole thing.

Sure if you hate your transmission.

Widest front and rear rim and tires

Assuming stock 21’s you’re maxed out at a 295/40. Those would be really flush with 1” spacers and rear camber at -.5°.

    Eibach, 22” Vossen HF F

That’s one of the reasons I dropped to a 21…to tuck the wheel around the brakes a little better.

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

I’d never put a 305/40/22 on a lowered ST. It’s asking for rubbing issues. Now if a 305/40/21 existed it would be perfect for my new wheels but it doesn’t exist outside of one model of snow tire. I personally don’t like a 285 on a 10.5 wheel but plenty do…that’s a personal preference.

Widest front and rear rim and tires

No you cannot run a 10.5 wide wheel at +45. +30 is the proper offset for that width.

Took it apart and painted the outer ring. I tried to wrap it but quickly figured out that’s not a talent I possess.

    Conti ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus 275/45 R21

And only $356 each for the Control Contact Sport SRS+ in a 295/40 that’s every bit as good as the DWS06.

Post your favorite pic...it’s a show off thread.

I have a thing for this rear 3/4 angle… but then this top view is kind of cool too.
