Picked up my 2025 Ford Explore ST last week

This 2020 Platnium has them. 3:47 in the video Can't seem to find a part listing for these however.

    LED Puddle lights.

The one on my ST looks like your old one. I'm going out on a limb here but I'm guessing the round style is the standard puddle lamp that comes on XLTs, Limited, Platniums, etc. They have a standard light that illuminates the ground while the ST projects the red logo. That's a guess however

Picked up my 2025 Ford Explore ST last week

I don't think there was ever a lighted door sill option. My '23 has the FP door sill plate, and the ST puddle lights, and IIRC from the couple of '25's I test drove they were the same way. Unless 2020's had that option and it was removed, i think that's just how they have always been.

Looking for a guinea pig? ST lighted cup holders/glove box light missing

So any potential here? I purchased the cupholder and ford harness, and understand the gist of making the adapter harness. However, i have more money than time so wanted to see if this was gaining any traction.

    ST's are like buses...

And sure as shit after making my post about not seeing many STs, I see 5 of them on my commute home. 5 STs and a ‘25 Active in a 8 mile ride home.

    Conti ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus 275/45 R21

I’ve run a few sets of these on other cars. This is prob the 6th or 7th set I’ve purchased but first on the Explorer. so far I’m happy. I’m not racing my ST, but for my spirited drives they do quite well. downside was $399/tire in the stock 275/45/21 size and apparently $375/tire in 295/40/21

    ST's are like buses...

I think Ford has said ST's make up about 20% of the take rate for each model year. I see a butt-ton of Explorers in my neck of the woods. I see mostly XLT's and Limited here. Next up would be the ST's and then Platinum's. The rare ones to see on the road are the King Ranches and Base...

    Driver Seat Tearing, Anyone Else?

Might want to see this thread. Has a part number for the lower portion of the seat. Doesn't seem too expensive for a new cover. If you need the upper portion might need to search Ripped seats | Explorer ST Forum

    Conti ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus 275/45 R21

Weird, I had no problem calling up and getting quotes on those tires. I put a set on my car last week in the 275/45/21 size. Great tire. Rides nice. Wish i knew about the 295/40/21 option however. Those tires are $375 each in 295/40/21 vs $400 each for 275/45/21. Oh well...next time.

    Rear A/C vents

Bumping this because I have the same issue. FB post was asking about this. Claimed pass side 2nd row vent was working, on max AC, but nothing on the driver's side 2nd row. Lots of folks claim to have the same issue and when brought in for service, the dealer told them "normal". So i hop...

    More dealer service problems

I test drove a few '25 ST's when they first came out last fall, and when i popped the hood on all (sometime I do with every car). none had an engine cover.

2016-20 MUSTANG GT350R BRAKE CALIPER & BOLT KIT by Ford

Are there any big brake options that will clear the stock 21" wheels without needing spacers?

    Parking brake automatically engages

Auto Start/Stop was a welcome "delete" around '22-'23 or so. It was a $50 credit on the window sticker. I don't know the actual breakdown of when vehicles had it removed and which ones, but I remember when I was shopping and looking at window stickers, some would have this delete on mostly...

    What rims are these?

That is a fairly common spoke design however. You should be able to search around and find something that might be similar to that. Similar wheels below for example. These may not fit, but I just wanted to show it's a popular spoke design. Porsche 981 Boxster Wheels BBS CI-R Bronze |...

Poor quality control or cost cutting?

I think the Explorer is now the only vehicle globally that has an ST trim level. Makes me wonder what the future holds for "ST" considering it went from being on a few models, to now only being on one. Some bean counter probably got a promotion for suggesting they eliminate the special key for...

Looking for a guinea pig? ST lighted cup holders/glove box light missing

So i've been interested in adding this feature back to my '23. Cupholder = LB5Z-7813562-BA Ambient lights = LB5Z-14A318-K But, in my console there won't be anywhere to plug in this subharness? So no factory OE type install? Need to build/buy an adapter harness?

2025 Explorer ST Experience is live

IS the experience only limited to original owners and within a certain time frame? I'd love to do it, but I bought my vehicle used. However, the in-service date is Dec '23 which puts me at 16 months. I have an email out to ask. Worth a shot, but I am expecting a no. Bummer. I'd almost pay...
