81 days at dealer for our 21 ExpST... Well crap, it needs to go back.

Bet that's gotta be a great feeling to have it back and looking like you can put this behind you.

Holy hell. I hate to say it, but when you get the vehicle back and seems to be sorted, i would seriously consider letting it go. The amount of problems and fact that so much has been touches would shake my confidence in going another 25-50K+ miles problem free.

I have a bench seat in my '23 ST as well. Didn't like it at first but now it's grown on me. Sorry to get OT. OP, I feel for you. No idea how a tech could drive 50 miles and not notice something like that banging around. Easy answer is nobody drove it.

    oil catch can

I like the J&L unit. Fits well and i get a capful of oil out every 2 weeks or so when i check it and oil level. I keep the original hose in the rear storage area in case i need to send the vehicle in for warranty work or something. I've heard of dealers giving folks a hassle over oil...

What grade of gas do you put in your ST?

Mine is stock. I've thrown 89, 91 and 93 in it depending on where I am and what i'm doing. Highway driving i'll toss 89 in where i'm just using cruise control. I notice zero difference on my butt-o-meter between them, but it's been some time since it's been calibrated.

Ah ok. The V6 I saw was actually being used. Saw it on quite a few details on the side of 93 with the lights on with a few construction crews. Was dark blue in color. Haven’t seen it in a while so possibly was painted and used for parade type stuff now.

When did you take that photo? The unmarked Mustang i saw was an 05+ V6 with the pony grill (foglights) just like that. I wonder if they finally marked it?

    Not a COP

That's true. MA state police for a while had an unmarked Mustang as well, but I haven't seen it in a long time. Used to be on I93 south of Boston a lot.

    Not a COP

Here’s what MA state police use as an unmarked cruiser. Picture this in the 6th gen body style. Police here use blue plates while MA civilians all get white…except for one unique plate. so every time I get on the state highway in my carbonized grey ST with tint and that civilian version blue...

360 Camera disabled. Why? What’s the fix?

Would you happen to know where the module lives in the vehicle? also, this is a rather expensive module, even used. my ‘23 has the front and mirror cameras. Haven’t looked to see if wiring is present but would like to at least peek at where the module is supposed to go and see if there is any...

ROOF No rails or Delete Parts

Yeah, watch a few vids on the rail delete and you'll see that without the filler trim it looks quote horrible.

Was funny the first few times but it gets old. Mine is carbonized grey, and the MA state police units use the similar brown/gray shade for their unmarked units. The color looks the same with the black grill, that's about it. Nothing else on my vehicle looks like a PIU. I had a black Taurus...

    Spare tire

Lookssimular to the spares that went into the Mustangs a few years back. Odd that they changed it. Mine looks nothing like that.

Traction Control issues after tire repair

EDIT: just say your post about tire pressures being correct so i'll delete that. Just trying to think of reasons why the system would think it's detecting wheel spin. Without codes present that would suggest it's actually seeing 1 wheel spin faster than the others. Shop did put the correct...

Picked up my 2025 Ford Explore ST last week

You would think so, but it's a very mixed community. Some echo your 250K statement and other spout doom and gloom.

The '25 Fobs are not compatible with the '20-24 fobs either (frequency is different), so you can't pick up some used ones to program. Unsure if the early '25 fobs are available for purchase. With 2 fobs, you can program 2 more up to 4. I do think the fobs are physically the same, so you...

How-To: Creating your own ST Lighted Cup Holder Harness

Do you recall how long you made your harness? Managed to track down a cheap WPT-911 on Ebay. Looking for the others at more reasonable pricing. $90 for WPT-1182 is more than I paid for the cupholder and lighting harness combined.

Picked up my 2025 Ford Explore ST last week

All cars have issues, and the folks who have issues are the most vocal because they are seeking help or answers and that's the purpose of the group. My wife drives a brand new Honda CRV so i'm in a few FB groups for that vehicle. You'd be surprised to see it's the same thing with folks...

How-To: Creating your own ST Lighted Cup Holder Harness

Awesome thread and thank you for doing the legwork here. I have the cupholder and ford harness, but was delaying on install because of this adapter harness needed. Mostly I couldn't figure out the connectors as I wanted a plug-and-play harness. You are right about the pigtails being...
