Tpms relearn 2020 ford explorer st / black wheel

These look legit and seem like they were packaged in jan 2025. I just don't get why they won't respond to the tpms19. I heard that these ship in deep sleep mode and aren't wakened until they're pressurized or spinning.

Tpms relearn 2020 ford explorer st / black wheel

I tested one of the eBay OEM ones and it didn't honk. I'm glad I saw your post about the items being old. I was about to just take the gamble and get it mounted.

Tpms relearn 2020 ford explorer st / black wheel

I got these from Amazon after seeing some people on here and FB say they worked: https://a.co/d/7r1v1GX I didn't mount them to my tire, I just put the car in relearn mode and placed the sensor near the wheel and clicked the TPMS19 tool around it. No honk. Is this even a valid test? It works...

Tpms relearn 2020 ford explorer st / black wheel

I used Forscan and cleared the DTC from the Body Control Module (BdyCM). It cleared all the sensors, and after driving for just a few minutes (not even a mile), 3 of the 4 sensors came back on. I had hoped that clearing it would give the car a fresh slate and see the sensor, but no go. Two...

    Carroll Shelby CS10 (20x9.5, 37mm offset)

Some pics in the day light. I am going to try to get everything mounted and aligned this Friday. Regarding the amount of threads left after the spacer and wheel, I can make about 10 full turns with the lug nut before I have to torque it down. I think that's in a safe range.

Tpms relearn 2020 ford explorer st / black wheel

Do I need to do anything special to get my car to recognize the new sensor? My front left OEM sensor died and I've had a tire pressure sensor fault light for the last 3 weeks. I've been testing new sensors by going into relearn mode and using a clicker tool. So far, several sensors that I've...

    Carroll Shelby CS10 (20x9.5, 37mm offset)

I found out that the spacer I ordered was 5mm. Whoops. I might just keep them. I know I'm being paranoid, but how do I know if I'll have enough lug stud length with the spacer and the new wheels? I ceramic coated the wheels. The one on the left is ceramic coated, the one on the right isn't yet.

    Carroll Shelby CS10 (20x9.5, 37mm offset)

Here's how it should look. Just slightly more poke than OEM. I guess we'll have to wait and see in a few weeks after I get an alignment and TPMS sensors and everything mounted.

I can't remember where I got it but it's just a little tint film that goes over the amber corner only.

Which model did you go with?

    Carroll Shelby CS10 (20x9.5, 37mm offset)

Probably not for a few weeks. I ordered some OEM motorcraft TPMS since I don't trust the Amazon ones I had. Then I'm going to Cancun for a week. (There goes my mod money)

    Carroll Shelby CS10 (20x9.5, 37mm offset)

Here is the spacer and hub centric ring. Did I install it correctly? Is there anything unsafe about using these? I imagine the heat will make them get stuck to the rotor. Should I put some antiseize on it so my next brake job isn't awful?

They came, and like a kid on Christmas eve, I couldn't wait until tomorrow. So here's some night time pics.

    Carroll Shelby CS10 (20x9.5, 37mm offset)

They're here! 5mm spacer and hubcentric ring coming later. That should effectively make the fitment the same as a +32 offset, right? This is my first time venturing out of the norm and buying a wheel that nobody has tried. I also ordered a set of OEM Motorcraft TPMS sensors. The part number...

Tpms relearn 2020 ford explorer st / black wheel

I just tried with the Amazon sensor, I tried all 4. I held them next to the tire and inside the wheel while clicking the relearn tool, no beeps. I'm wondering if I should just go with a Motorcraft TPMS instead.

    Carroll Shelby CS10 (20x9.5, 37mm offset)

I went ahead and ordered. I also ordered a 5mm spacer and hub centric rings. Here's the only pics of the wheel on a car that I could find: I also got some General G-Max AS-07 in 295/45/20. It's pretty close to the same diameter as my OEM 21s, so hopefully it doesn't look too silly on the stock...

    Carroll Shelby CS10 (20x9.5, 37mm offset)

I'm OK with it being the same. The stock fitment never really bothered me. It's my wife's daily. I called Holley and confirmed that the load rating is 1929 lbs per wheel.

Tpms relearn 2020 ford explorer st / black wheel

I have a set of Amazon TPMS ready to replace all 4. Is it possible to test them out before I mount them on my tires using the relearn process?

Would it be even more tucked than stock?

    Rude Awakening On Rims Today!

How are you liking them? I think you're the first one I've seen get Velgens and go to 20" instead of 21". I was wanting to go that route too.
