thoughts on potential purchase (or deposit on build)

What matters that it sounds good to you. With the current chip shortage, production is limited at best. I'm reading Ford Chicago Assembly is down again next week and limited still after that. It may be awhile before you get your vehicle if its on the assembly line. Good luck with your decision.

    Ford Performance ST Experience Swag

Here's some pics of the items you'll get at the experience. Zulu backpack, phone charger, and the new ST emblems are niceties. I'll save this and throw it in when I sell the Explorer.

    A Plan Pricing Question

Welcome to the forum. I looked at the paperwork where we purchased our ST on the Z plan. (same as A-plan, but retiree). Window sticker was $57,695.00. A/Z Plan was $53,418.58. Friends and Family was 55,496.81, still a substantial savings. I've heard that the 2021's were priced lower than the...

Ford Performance ST Experience Ashville May 19th and 20th, 2021

We stayed an extra night, registering in January. They gave us the option of going to Biltmore the next day. They sent us tickets on line at no charge. I would contact them if you plan on staying another day. We got the extra night at the ST Experience Rate.

Ford Performance ST Experience Ashville May 19th and 20th, 2021

The wife and I had a blast . Learned a lot about the vehicle operation and it's capabilities. Met forum member Dave G ST and a lot of other good people. Biltmore was great. Overall a good time! Drove the ST's hard at times in the autocross and evasive maneuvers.

Paint Quality issue - anyone else?

I had a couple of issues with the paint that I missed before delivery. Scratches, and a small nick on the front passenger door edge. The dealer ordered me a paint pen. As Cdubya said I'd prefer to keep the factory paint if possible.

    New guy and first "mod"

Not really a "Rivet" they are a push pin or "Christmas Tree" like what the Bumper plugs are. I scuffed mine with 600 grit sandpaper and sprayed it with matte black to match the trim better.

Northwest Ohio has had some crappy weather in May. Lots of frosty mornings. I think April was actually warmer.

Awesome set up Muddydogs. Is your danger of frost over where you live? In Northern Ohio we are just over that. (I hope)

    Let's See Those Vegetable Gardens!

Put ours out today. Not real big, but have some variety. Three different types of tomatoes. Hot wax peppers, two different types of cucumbers, zucchini, cantaloupe, and some jack-o-lantern pumpkins for the grandkids. Post up what you're growing this year.
