I’m beginning to think it’s me with the issue

I'm not sure how this works, since you had no registration, what kind of tags are you driving on? No benefit for the dealer to sit on the paperwork, just being disorganized sounds like. Talk to the owner and give them a earful. might not help, but you'll feel better.

    I Feel Sick

Hell no I'm not accepting that! If it hasn't been installed yet send it back. Or file a claim with UPS. The dealership shouldn't even begin to install damaged parts.

Definitely a click in there than mine doesn't have. something I'd get checked out while under warranty. Lets hope for a u-joint or something minor.

    Paint Problems

It's sad that this kind of stuff ever leaves Chicago Assembly. Any paint defect could have been resolved there. I had a couple of issues with my paint also, but decided the fix would be worse than the problem. Good luck getting yours fixed.

    Good morning this morning!

Welcome to the forum. I've always used Motorcraft filters and fluids with excellent results. I just had a dealership break one off in me for maintenance on my F150. Won't do that again.
