    Any pictures of stone blue?

It is slightly more gray in person. I went by a lot specifically to look at colors before ordering.

Ford Explorer ST Vehicle Order Tracking

This is my problem......the big stack of parts in my garage. Running out of excuses to tell my wife what they are for. When I bought the CTSV I put headers into stock exhaust and it was really quiet until you got on it. Was driving with the family one day and my youngest daughter (13 a the...

    Anyone running auto octane zfg?

The F150 is just a static measure that displays on your phone. I think they use it to test the fuel then load a tune for it maybe? Starting to think it may not be in the ECM. If we could figure out the exact model, we could look at some flex fuel vehicles to see if any of them use the same...

    Anyone running auto octane zfg?

I found a flex fuel sensor for a F150 3.5 Ecoboost. I'm guessing if they share ECM's then the capability is there.

    Anyone running auto octane zfg?

If we can figure out what model ECU is used (Bosch I believe)we can find out if the capability is there. If Ford uses the same ECM across flex fuel and non-flex fuel models then it is possible there is the capability is in the ECM and that makes it a lot easier IMO. I know GM shares ECM's...

    Anyone running auto octane zfg?

Here's where I got mine. The ECM has an input for alcohol content but no flex fuel sensor stock. The kit wires to the ECM. https://dsxtuning.com/collections/flex-fuel-kits Anybody know what ECM the Explorer ST uses?

    Anyone running auto octane zfg?

Not disputing anything you are saying however there are literally hundreds of CTS-V's running a non-stock flex fuel sensor that tells the ecm exactly what fuel you are running and will adjust fueling and timing parameters accordingly to maximize HP based on the fuel you are running. That is a...

Take it for what it's worth. I stopped caring what people think about me a long time ago.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Nevemind the wear and tear THAT is what I dislike most about the auto start stop.

    Anyone running auto octane zfg?

That's what the dyno said. This on a supercharged 406ci V8

    Anyone running auto octane zfg?

On My CTSV, all I had to do was put a flex fuel sensor and bigger injectors, and pump upgrade and my tuner gave me an autosensing tune. I run E85 I get 800 HP. I run 91 I get 700 HP. No different tune, just fill it with whatever and off you go. Having said that, I have zero experience with...

    Jacking procedure?

I believe it is the 5000xl? I bought the hangers and hang them off the wall with the pump and hoses and lifting blocks and pinch weld blocks in the corner. Takes up little space when stored. The lifts have wheels on one end so it is easy rolling them into place. Costco seems to regularly run...

    Jacking procedure?

I use a Quickjack. Haven't used it on an Explorer yet but I can have a car up in the air in about 4 minutes including the time it takes to pull out and setup the quickjack. It has paid for itself in time alone over the years. I also have a two post lift at my business but for oil changes and...

    COST OF STEEDA SPRING INSTALL

Also Douglas Automotive in Plainfield is a very reputable general automotive shop. The only place I ever had work done on my daughters' cars. Again, could problably handle springs no problem but they don't do alignments.

    COST OF STEEDA SPRING INSTALL

Yes they specialize in GM. Don't think they would have any problem doing springs for an Explorer. Tom Izzo was the owner back a few years ago. A solid guy when I dealt with him. Their shop has expanded quite a bit over the years so they must be doing a lot of work.

    COST OF STEEDA SPRING INSTALL

I used Speed Inc quite a but when I had a CTS-V. Added some mods and did some dyno tuning. Not sure of their pricing. Price might include(should include) alignment. I'm guessing 3-4 hours plus an alignment. I'm hoping to do my own in less time.

Ford Explorer ST Vehicle Order Tracking

Sounds like I need to reduce my excitement of build date. Guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed they have parts next Wednesday or else it's off to the parking lot for my Explorer.

    aFe Momentum GT CAI

Can't wait until you guys get yours, install them, and post some feedback! I've been spending too much money on parts so I promised myself I would wait until delivery for any more.

    Rear end damage

I''m not gonna lie, I'm thinking about a subframe. On the fence for sure. I've blown a motor at 150mph, broken suspension parts at speed. It's not pretty. I am a risk taker but a calculated risk taker I like to think. A little insurance goes a long way sometimes. I've got a diffy stiffy...
