    Performance brake kit

Agreed. I'm still holding out hope Tony gets a bracket made for the rear using the GT350 calipers and S650 GT PP/Dark Horse EPD caliper. It's a great budget option that will stop the car great for most people, but being a budget option means it's not perfect. If you can only spend $1300, you...

    Performance brake kit

Rotoras cost about $7000 all in (not sure if they run sales or not) Superforged is about $3900 all in. Front only kits: Racing Brake kit using a Jeep SRT caliper: probably $2000 all in GT350 caliper and rotor using MoFo Speed bracket: about $1300 all in depending on where you get parts

Same-model wheels on ST and Mustang GT Premium

Yes, REAR fitment S550/S650 Mustang wheels that are in the 20x10/11 range usually have too high an offset. My wheels are the FRONT fitment, 20x9.5 +33, but the same wheels in REAR fitment are 20x10.5 +45.

    Tune Question from a novice

UNBROKEN is right, you either have a PO Box in AZ or some friends in a different state. If you're concerned about CARB legality, the only options are Ford Performance, Whipple, or COBB OTS. If you're going with those, the Cobb would be the best. As an Off The Shelf tune, it is no where near...

    Just got my CobbsTuner AccessPort

Yep it is. Fucking California. :( Hey, but at least everyone else by me is stuck with the same crap fuel! The nearest E85 stations are around 20 miles away and all out of the way. Lots in LA or northern Orange County, but really none in south Orange County. If there was one by my work or...

    Just got my CobbsTuner AccessPort

Oh I know this. I'm waiting for the 23+ ECUs to be cracked so I can hit him up for my Raptor as well. I wasn't ready for a new intercooler, so I figured just grab an AP for the OTS tune in the meantime. Yes it's a bit weak but is a noticeable improvement and the transmission-tuning...

    Just got my CobbsTuner AccessPort

I did the same, but 91 (Cali :() It's a nice interim step before a real custom tune.

ANYONE running SBfilter hot & cold side piping??

Even with how bad the factory cold side pipe looks, I'm not sure how much power is gained with an aftermarket one. With that being said, I wanted to improve the looks and IMO the AFE cold side pipe looks a huge amount better than that S&B one!

COBB Accessport - Goosetuned Tuning thread

Winfield, Stage 1 91 is essentially NO Intercooler, and Stage 2 91 is for an Intercooler, correct?

    Tune Level

Like Unbroken said, the best bang-for-your-buck mod will be downpipes. They will actually gain some power. An intercooler will allow you to keep that power for more than one pull. And a tune from ZFG (HPTuner), Goosetuned (Cobb), or TunePlus (Cobb) will get you some great power. CAI...

    Tune Level

Adam at ZFG did a flow analysis some time ago, and yes the AFE outflows the stock, and the S&B outflows the AFE. However, on a 91 tune you might not be pushing enough boost to make any power difference. I swapped to an AFE because I liked the looks better.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Looks nice. I was going to do thus, but flipped. Alcantara on the trim and some vinyl on the center piece. Where did you get the Alcantara trim?

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Installed the AFE Cold Side pipe for some underhood bling. Also loaded the Cobb OTS 91 tune. Got both during their March sales. So this is what a decent shifting 10R60 feels like! Not crazy power gains, but noticeable and the OTS is a nice stopgap until I get an intercooler and a custom tune.

    20x9 Wheel/Tire Fitment Question

No issues here. That's my same fitment you quoted. Go for it. 9" is on the narrower side for a 285 but it will work.

    BWAHAHAHAhahahahahhahaha!

I lost faith in all the auto magazines a while ago; they all bust their nut over the latest electric lady shaver that will sell well for the first 10 minutes while bankrupting the company. But they fail to mention charging in the cold, grid issues when hot, massive fire risk, environmental...

    AFe vs S&B

Only visually. You might pick up a few ponies, but peak power will remain the same.
