What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

The front plate in CA, just like the speed limit, is only a suggestion. Gotten pulled over plenty of times in different cars and never once was a missing front plate mentioned.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

This same one is sitting in my garage, a friend had an extra one and gave it to me. I'm not in law enforcement, but like 75% of my friends are cops so I'm thinking it's appropriate.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Over the past 2 days I checked all the hardware my Steeda rear sway bar, chasing the creaking it was making. Got that solved. Then installed the Steeda adjustable toe arms. I know the adjustment of these isn't really necessary, but I liked how they looked compared to the Fenfab parts and I got...

    Rear Shocks

Mine were both weeping a bit when I lowered it with 27K miles. Annoying, but replaced them super cheap from Rock Auto.

    Intake system

It's 2 tubes, one from each turbo, each with a separate filter, and a box that they meet in. It's nicely made, fits perfectly, and doesn't throw codes unless there is installer error. It works with all the various connections and hoses that this spaghetti monster of an engine uses. And it's...

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

Did you ever get to install those SRT GC hood vents? I was thinking about that when I was in Big Bear; the snow on my hood melted in almost the same spots you were planning to put them. Vents there would've been perfect for turbo heat escaping.

It's disgusting that this has to be considered. I can't stand the liberals that allow this behavior. SF and LA are beautiful places that have since been ruined.

Installed my OCDPlug A and D pillar covers. Woo-hoo, no more swirled plastic! Definitely a must-do for the Explorers. I still can't believe how crappy the plastic on out pillars is. My 2004 E55 has less swirls after over 15 years than my Explorer did after 2 washes.

    Lethal Spring

    Steeda: 17 3/8" front, 18 3/8" rear, installed just over a month.

    Ford's new MegaZilla crate engine

They were testing in the S550 for the different intake manifolds. There won't be a Godzilla in the Mustang. Yes it would be cool to see the cubic inches, but the Coyote can make power so easily it's silly.

    275/50R20 - Stock 20” Wheels?

@mitchellj22 No change to steering. It wasn't heavier or anything. Like I said, I'm happy with these wheels, especially for the price (they were on sale for under $240/ea when I got them). At that price we can't always have the perfect specs. For tires I just installed Nitto NT420V. They feel...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Installed OCDPlug screen protector and found an air freshener from FRSHLABS that I thought was pretty cool. Yes, I'm an "air freshener from the mirror" guy now, because as a kiddy transporter, there can be interesting smells going on. This is one of their stock designs, but you can send them...

    275/50R20 - Stock 20” Wheels?

@mitchellj22 RTR Tech 5, +33 offset. These are technically Mustang wheels, but the specs work decently. When I got these in late 2020, there wasn't much available in 20" with a decent offset. You can find several 20s now that are 10 or 10.5, with a better offset for the Explorer. Most...

Fender to axle centerline. It doesn't matter which wheels you have.

    Boosted’s “Triple C” Build

@BoostedST You officially have my favorite wheels on this site. I dare anyone to find a car that TE37s DON'T make look better. I'll wait. Even Walter White could've looked great if threw some TE37s on that Aztek.

    Boosted’s “Triple C” Build

TE37s look great on everything. This is just a fact.
