What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Got my rear dashcam wire run to the front. Also wired up my battery backup for the dashcam. Just need to run power from the battery backup to the dashcam. Also replaced my read Ford oval with a blacked out one. I'm also running Steeda springs and swaybar for a week. Can't say I noticed any...

    Ford's CEO Farley...

Why wouldn't he want a subscription plan. Most every software company has moved to sucking money out of their customers each year. Plus the bonus for Ford is the subscriptions will be mostly profit since they current pay the costs for developing the software. Like Tesla, by a loaded car and...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Starting to feel like I did the right thing for me by putting the 2 bolt in myself. Doesn't sound like Ford is going to get around to fixing much if it doesn't break. Not likely I will get some cash out of them either. Oh well c'est la vie.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

My daughter liked it so much she stayed in Columbus. Went to a Buckeye Michigan with her. Quite an experience. First time I saw a grandmother say she liked my daughter's tee shirt that said F Michigan :) Nice to see them win the first National Championship. Sorry for clogging the thread...

    COST OF STEEDA SPRING INSTALL

Had I not been planning on replacing cross member I would have gladly paid $750 all day for springs and an alignment. Still need an alignment but I want to drive on the springs for a few days/week to get everything settled before getting it aligned. One advantage of Ford is they SHOULD be able...

    COST OF STEEDA SPRING INSTALL

Alignment is likely $150-175 Their hourly rate is likely $150-$200 Front is about an hour or two at most. Rear is an hour tops. Dealers suck for labor work generally. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Those HR? Interesting they go progressive on what I think is the fronts. I just did the Steedas and they were not progressive but I like them. Doesn't drop much and keeps the rake. Let us know what you think once you get them installed.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Couldn't agree more! I had a 2011 CTS-V hopped up to 700HP, then I went to full sized 3500 series pickups. Then I bought the ST and felt reasonably impressed with it's quickness and handling. After driving it for 3 months the thrill is gone and I feel I need to load my tune(y) For what it...

    Potential ST owner

After driving 3500Hd products from GM for a long time I was looking for something a little smaller that fit in my garage. Settled on the ST. Definitely getting used to the size and nimble steering. Have been really happy with the St in the few months I’ve had it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Converting crossmember from 1 bolt to 2

Given your experience I say no problem. Just take your time and stay organized. I always take lots of pics before i start taking things apart.

    Seat tear

I think dealers are scrapping for any extra dollars they can get. I was talking to my GM dealer of 25 years and 5 vehicles and he told me they are really suffering with cash flow. He said the only good thing is they were not carrying debt for huge inventory. They are selling pavement by the...

    2022 Ford Explorer Platinum ST

Come on now, there are TONS of people out there with better mechanical skills than me. Ever watch Hot Rod Garage:LOL: It was a challenge for sure but it was just like taking a puzzle apart and putting it back together except it was nuts and bolts.
