    Tire size question.

I’m going to say the car will look odd with that tire size but there shouldn’t be a problem. Only thing is Speedo will be off but that’s easily fixed with Forscan.

    Rebuilding salvage front end

With the right tune charge pipes have been shown to game some gains.

Intercooler is the best bang for buck. CAI and exhaust do nothing for power, but the Thermal Exhaust sounds the best. I-5 Autohaus produces good stuff it seems, although I’m not a fan of the front bumper, the hood looks really good. Here’s my modding guide that should help you with your car...

Since you are a new member it’s best to take a picture of your username along with date with the item to instill confidence in the buyer.

Bluey! - the Mild 2020 ST Build

Always love the GT350 and GT500 brake swaps!

    New ST owner 3rd Explorer

We’ve had two Explorers. A 2010 and 2022 currently. Completely different vehicles IMO.

    Exhaust system is junk

Wow both those prices seem really expensive. $3k for an exhaust is 2x times more then a Thermal exhaust.

Honestly, I wouldn’t do anything to the car then. An inter cooler is only noticeable if you have a heavy foot. Same with the diff brace. As long as you don’t drive too aggressive then stock form is perfectly fine. Totally understand the money thing, I’m still completely stock because it’s hard...

Spend the extra money for an ID-Speed brace. To me the AWR puts more stress on the bolt then is necessary due to its design. Steedas brace is similar, but isn’t designed as well and the bolts are known to break.

    Stock CAI

That’s what I would do. You can find them cheap enough I think.
  11. 2020FordRaptor

    Stock CAI

RSA holds the record for the Explorer ST. They’ve achieved low 10 second quarter miles.
  12. 2020FordRaptor

    Stock CAI

RSA is the best place to get your tranny done. Honestly, I’d just save up the $4k to get the tranny built before any more mods happen. I never know why people want to do the 10r80 swap when the 10r60 can be built to handle more then enough.

    Stock CAI

Also, you’re going to want to get a built transmission because Adam probably is going to limit torque so that you won’t destroy your transmission, making these little mods irrelevant.
  14. 2020FordRaptor

    Stock CAI

The stock exhaust nor the intake are restrictive for stock turbos and you wouldn’t see any gains with that. If you’re upgrading turbos then you might see some worthwhile gains. It probably doesn’t hurt, and Adam could probably dial in the intake more with the upgraded turbos. I would do it.

I got about 24 over a 500 mile trip on a 2-lane road at a very decent speed. Usually get about 16 and around town but I have very heavy foot.

Oh no, factory intercooler is the completely opposite. It literally is the same size as the Focus STs intercooler and gets heat soaked really easily even before a tune.

    Need Help with Up Grades

Here’s what I’d do: 1)Downpipes 2)Wheel tire setup (got to put that power down) 3)BBK (at those speeds you’ll need braking power) 2)built transmission from RSA (you’ll need one with a turbo kit) 3)CRP stage 5 and proper fuel system (you’ll need more fuel with the bigger turbos) 4)diff brace...

    GT500 front brake upgrade

They never made a 2023 GT500. 2022 was the last year.
