Standard brakes are showing heavy fade. Factory big brake parts to replace them?

I only drove on my stock brakes for about 15k but I thought they were decent for oem. Repeated heavy braking events will overheat them. I did an auto cross with stock brakes and I had no fade issues but that’s not nearly as bad as high speed. I had the street pack bigger oem brakes . Sent from...

2023 ST Weak Audio - Amp possibly not even working?

Fo what it’s worth I thought mine was far from good. Decent at low volume but max loudness was lacking for what it was imo. The head unit puts out pretty clean low level signals right up to 30. At least none that I could measure. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    New ride and member

Yeah, nothing good about impacts for installing lug nuts even with torque sticks Imo. I use mine to loosen lug nuts but all tightened with torque wrench in 2 or 3 steps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Good clean humor and jokes

I know it’s hard for some but this thread should be void of politics. I for one enjoy this thread without the incessant pissing and moaning. We don’t give a crap about your political views. This thread is about jokes, not small minded childish political jabs. Plenty of places to get that...

    SuperForged Big Brake Kit Review

It took me about 2 hours to do it on a quickjack. That includes time for beer. I would guess 300 and up. It’s really a pretty easy job. The hardest part are the brake lines. I also use a $15 HF vacuum brake bleeder to make it even easier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Fluids Change - Need clarification

I would not hesitate to use their full synthetic gear oil. I ran it in my trucks at my business for 30 years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oil change intervals, mileage vs oil life gage

I change every 5k. Cheap insurance. Turbos are hard on oil. I ran a few oil samples early on. Looks like I could run 7-8k intervals if I wanted to but again cheap insurance. Usually at 30-40% oil life. Pretty sure you could run it down to 5-0% safely running full synthetic without major...

    Trans Temp Gauge

I had an Edge CTs 3 in my previous diesel truck. Moved it to the ST and it works great. It wasn’t cheap when I got it but it’s going on 6-ish years of use with no issues. It does give TFT which is what I used doing the first trans fluid change. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey, new owner of a 2021 ST

Welcome. Would you NEED better brakes? ST is a pretty good platform in stock mode. Having said that many of us have WANTED more horsepower, better brakes, styling changes, etc[emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Best Oil Catch Can

Imo if you keep your cars for a few years and trade them then it’s not worth it. If you keep your vehicle for 100k or 200k miles it is definitely worth. Eventually you will have to have the valves blasted with walnut shells to clean them if you have a DI engine. That can get pricey but does a...
