The stock 6.0 IC wasn’t all that good to begin with…that’s why we all swapped them when we were modding 6.0’s. lol To be fair though it’s a definite improvement over the Explorer part.

I didn’t do that either. I left them on the hood and stared at it every time I walked into the garage for a week and I just never fell in love with them.

They just didn’t fit right so I skipped it. If the splitter protruded one more inch they would have been perfect.

So I did finish up those grilles. The plan was to inset them into wooden rings and cover the whole thing with grille cloth…but that turned into only wrapping the rings so I can still see the speaker cone and adding some cap screws to match the sub mounting in the back. Like things sometimes...

Those tips are WAY out. Are you sure all the connections are slid all the way together?

There’s plenty of access to everything. But…if someone wanted more access for whatever reason it would be easy to remove the diff side of the brace to accommodate that for the once…maybe twice in the vehicles lifespan the diff fluid would actually be changed. FYI there’s a code on ID Speed...

At least you went with the right Bosch plug…too many people wasting money on NGK 6510’s for a colder plug and these 3.0’s hate them.

Correct. No drilling involved. I know the owner of ID well…he texted me yesterday there’s a code for his braces right now. “nofear” will knock 15% off.

You can set rear camber to -.5° the make the top of the tire pretty much the same as the front. That will leave both ends inset roughly an inch. Started the FenFab coolant tank. Ordered a hose to put on the vent tube and need to brush the cap still.

Finally knocked out the audio so it’s on to the pile of other stuff. Dropped in the FenFab coolant tank today. I need to go hunt down a small 90° hose for the vent line and do a brushed finish on the billet cap I found…but it’s almost complete.
