What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

We bought these for my wife's 2022 ST. We had the detailer put it on when they were wrapping her roof. I'm going to have to order a set for my 2020 ST and try it ourselves, hopefully it goes well lol.

    Great MPG's

My ST did 24MPG from NW suburbs of Chicago to Northeast IN. Computer was off .5MPG. Pretty happy with that, considering I was going 75-80MPH.

Considering Trading My F150 For An ST

She's been a blast so far and yesterday I had to drive 6 hours and the massage seats were a nice touch! I will eventually have to take it back to the dealer for them to swap the window switch tips and for them to look at my Lane Keep, when I press it, it doesn't do anything. Seen a few posts...

Considering Trading My F150 For An ST

Well, found a dealer with a low mile 2020 ST and traded in the truck. Got it tinted today and very happy with it! It was a lease with only 16k miles. It has equipment group 400, but, it seems to have everything my wife’s 401A has, minus the sunroof. I have leather, big screen, park assist, pilot...

Ashville ST SUV experience autocross times

I did the last run, so I had to kind of study the course while my wife did the first set. My best time was 28.3, but, I touched two cones .

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Watched my wife put her black ST badges we got from ST Experience. She did an excellent job. I moved it back into the garage, so I helped lol... But, then I noticed ours does not have the self park feature. Must be due to the chip shortage  I wasn't that impressed with it at the ST...

Considering Trading My F150 For An ST

The ST is my wife's, we traded her 2020 Santa Fe Limit 2.0T AWD for it back in December of 2022. She has been enjoying it and on the few occasions I drive it, It's very comfortable and fun to drive. I drove it from IL to TX and back with no stops and I had no complaints! I guess I didn't realize...

Not even 6 mos and got a chip/crack in the windshield :(

My wife's 2022 caught a rock on our way home from TX to IL.It was not repairable and our insurance policy covers glass replacement/repair for $0 out of pocket. Safelite came 2 days later with an aftermarket glass (OEM had an ETA of a few weeks to months, special order per the agent). Took the...

    Great MPG's

On my F150, the computer reads 1-2MPG higher. I haven't taken the time to correct it, as another member mentioned here. It will say I got 22MPG and it's really high 19s or low 20s. Sometimes I don't mind when it lies to me :D We took a trip to TX from IL, on the way to TX the best MPG we got...

Name ONE ST Feature others might not know.....

We took my wife's ST on a 2k mile road trip (saved a ton versus flying). One thing I learned that took me by surprise... driver side mirror auto dims. But, I noticed it's only the driver's side. The passenger side looks like it's a standard mirror.

    Replacement windshield

My wife's 22' ST just got a new windshield from SafeLite. They were easy to schedule and came out two days later (today). I opted to just get what they had in stock, versus having to order an OEM with the little ST in the corner and waiting months as they could not provide an ETA. It took the...

    Scratch repair questions.

Run your nail over it, if it's deep, I would have a body shop take care of it. If it's light scratches, a detailer can take care of it. As for who is responsible, it should be them, I would push for them to fix it on their dime.

    New ST Owner, Bad Luck

We just filed the claim, waiting for their response. State Farm tried telling us Illinois is not a diminished value state, we were on the phone with them for an hour, only for them to tell us the instructions to submit the claim is via document and attach all documents. This e-mail is the same...

    Unexpected infotainment reboot

I have a 2019 F150 with the Sync3 system and it has done it to me a few times. Sometimes right after a cold start, and sometimes after driving for 30-60 minutes. It always comes back, but it is annoying.

Jeeze man! That sucks. At that point, I would be hoping it is a total loss. Any pictures of the damage? I hope everything works out the way you want in the end :( I just realized both of our cars have the same build date. And we might be part of the new recall about the transmissions lol...

    Back-up Camera Issues

For those that got the recall 23S02 performed, how long did it take for the dealer to do it? Between the accident and the car going to the detailer for ceramic/roof wrap, we feel like this car is always going somewhere lol... According to the document it can take a half day or maybe longer..

    ST SUV driving experience

We just registered for the first opening in June, we were going to wait until September, but with our daughter's schedule, might be too risky to wait. We're waiting to get more details about the hotel and confirmation, but, we're planning to fly out there the day of the dinner (hopefully get...

Driving home to Dallas-Winter Storm Mara

We just got our Explorer ST, so we haven't tried it in snow/icy conditions. But, my 2019 F150 has Slippery/Snow mode and it significantly reduces the power. It really helps so I don't spin the truck out and avoid having to go into 4HI. Hopefully it's just as useful in the ST.

    ST SUV driving experience

We are excited to go, but the current dates do not work for us. So we have to wait until more dates open up past July. I emailed them and they said it runs until October, so hopefully, we can get something for NC for September.

Good luck and I hope they are able to get through your car as quickly as possible. The first week was the hardest and then we finally accepted the situation and just tried to keep it out of mind. I'm glad the Ford dealer could source all of the parts quickly for us, so I'm hoping you have no...
