What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Gave the interior a detail. Decided to clean the windshield since it was very dirty and noticed I need a new windshield, again. Last year in March caught a rock in TX while heading home. Left a quarter size crack. Not sure when this one happened. But, I also noticed very tiny chips scattered...

Backup Cam Recall - Shows No active recall

Never mind… checked the app this morning and the recall is now back. Ignore my post lol.

Backup Cam Recall - Shows No active recall

I have a 2022 and it has had the open recall for blue screen with the backup camera. It just recently started to have the issue randomly and I wanted to wait to bring it in for when I got an oil change. I just checked the app and it no longer shows the recall for it. I checked the ford website...

No better time than now! Lethal started their black Friday sale and the 2.5'' is $1,200.

    Review: Thermal R&D 3" Catback

I had the 2.5'' on my 2020 and I recently got the 3'' for my 2022. I went with the 3'' because I wanted a bit more volume, and I got it. 2.5'' IMO is perfect for the person that wants an aftermarket exhaust and is only loud when going WOT and moderately loud on cold starts (once warmed up...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Did they replace just the seal or perform the TSB? I had the seal only replaced on mine, not sure what the cost would have been though.

Zurich Shield - Warranty, Product or Both?

These paint protection warranties are mostly useless IMO. Sealants only last anywhere from 3-6 months, IF it was done properly and washed properly. If you go through automatic or touchless car washes, those can strip the sealant or weaken it significantly. The only long-lasting products for...

    Warrant void upgrades

This is meant to protect you if you use an OEM-like part intended as a direct replacement. So you are not stuck having to buy OEM parts to retain warranty. Like doing your own oil changes, or buying replacement air filters. transmission fluid/filter, alternator, sensors, etc. In simple terms...

    Transmission woes

thanks, will do. I drop it off Sunday night so they can have it for a day or two. They do not have any loaners right now and our week is so busy, no one can pick me up from the dealer Monday morning. Just took it for a 30min drive and it was fine, no issues or wrench light. So this upcoming...

    Transmission woes

We have lost confidence on my ST, haven’t taken it on road trips, more so after today. Which sucks because we travel often and drive to our destinations. Might even just consider trading it in after this depending on the outcome and taking a loss on it (it’s paid off too).

    Transmission woes

Well, guess what code(s) came back, yup, same ones. Only this time the transmission shifted fine, just kept getting the wrench light and messages on FordPass. I’m ready to drive this thing into a wall. Calling the dealer tomorrow.

Anyone have a 25 ST yet?

Do the 25's have front and rear camera sprayers? My wife's 22 doesn't have it and man I love it during the winter!

New motor, hallelujah. 2020 Explorer ST.

I had a MK6 GTI that burned about 1qt every 1200 miles. It was considered normal by the dealer. So I always kept a bottle on hand just in case I didn't get to my 5k mile oil changes on time. Hopefully not the case with my ST. My wife's ST doesn't seem to lose any and she is at 17k miles. I...

    Ceramic Coating Sprays

If you are like me and wash your car on a weekly basis, I found the following combo works great and honestly the water beading, sheeting, and protection seem on par with my wife's ST that has CeramicPro (actual ceramic coating). I don't have a gloss meter, but, when both cars have been cleaned...

New motor, hallelujah. 2020 Explorer ST.

I'm curious how long was it from the time you ran out of oil to your last oil change? I checked my oil the other day and it was almost bone dry and I was just shy of 5k miles since my last oil change. I'm due for an oil change in a week or two, so I'm going to double check it again and check...

ST Puddle Light - Fell Off

Yup, still works. Oddly enough, yesterday i remember the piece being loose, and today when I went to go mess with it, it's solid in place. I'm leaving it alone until it pops out again, if it does, i have clear silicon I can put on lol. Thanks!

ST Puddle Light - Fell Off

Has anyone ever had their puddle light fall out and dangle by the wire? As I was driving yesterday on the highway, suddenly out of the corner of my eye I saw something dangling under the mirror. When I got home I popped it back in, but, it's very loose. Looking at pictures online, it looks like...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I didn't know Off Roam has a mount for our Explorer's. I have the ProClip and my only complaint is that it blocks the vent and in my car, the mount has fallen numerous times. I finally reached out to them and they sent me another vent mount piece and that one seems to have a better fit. I had a...
