    AFE Momentum-Remove plastic cover

Go for it if you don’t care. Underhood temps are hot in the St. As intake air temps rise the computer pulls timing and thus power. Same reason many of us put a bigger intercooler as intake heat kills engine power. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Steeda Subframe bushings

I believe the Steeda subframe product fits all explorer subframes. It fit mine and mine was not listed when I bought them. You should be good. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Stock vs Big Brake Kit

I’d say fair to moderate. More than the stock street pack but not obnoxious imo. I like the black calipers on the black wheels above too! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    AFE Momentum-Remove plastic cover

You may get some sound but you will also let a lot of hot air into the intake. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Please give me parts or disadvantages that I don't recommend

Agree on the bigger pan. If you are getting one anyhow then more fluid is always better imo. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    AWD and Staggered.

Good question. I know it’s the same awd hardware. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Michelin Cross Climate 2's

Not running them but I read they are good. I just can’t get over their appearance. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    AWD and Staggered.

I assume. Came with the optional AMG exterior. It’s a similar system as it’s mostly rear drive until you need the traction. I think it’s 20% front 80% rear for normal driving. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    AWD and Staggered.

Just to add some info. My wife’s Gle450 AWD is staggered. 275/45R22 in front and 315/40R21 in back. That’s a .6% difference in circumference and +3 revs per mile. It is awd so I would say if you keep the difference 1% or preferable less you should be good to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Front end thunk

Are you hitting any uneven pavement? If so I would say sway bar end links or top strut bearing or strut. Seem to be common problems. If it’s when you hit the brakes possibly a loose caliper bolt? Just guessing here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    AWD and Staggered.

According to my tire size calculator, the difference in his sizes is 1% circumference. I was thinking before checking that under .5 would be fine and 2% would be no good. Just a guess. Without knowing initial design specs, I would be concerned with a 1% difference on an AWD. I don’t recall the...

    Intercooler talk....

    AWD and Staggered.

I’ve had two cars that came with a staggered setup. My CTSV had big rear tires but was RWD. My wife’s 2025 GLE450 also has bigger fatter rear tires and AWD. Both cars looked really good with the staggered setup. The downside is you get less tire life because you can’t rotate front to back. Since...

    Stock vs Big Brake Kit

Man that’s a brutal bleeding procedure[emoji23]. But you gotta do what you gotta do! In daily driving, I have not found the need to upgrade pads. But if I were planning on tracking I would look for better track pads. I have not changed my pads yet but it sure looked like you could remove them...

Is turbo delay on departure after replacing only large intercoolers?

You definitely notice the lack of quick heat soak and timing being pulled with a larger inter cooler. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is turbo delay on departure after replacing only large intercoolers?

This but questionable if the butt Dyno could tell. Larger volume of space to pressurize before the pressure hits the throttle body. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Stock vs Big Brake Kit

No doubt! There’s a reason people are swapping in new drivetrains for old muscle cars. My first car was a 68 Mustang with 289. Used to think it was pretty quick, which it was at the time, especially when the oil embargo brought the Mustang II and the Pinto[emoji23]. That engine needed a complete...
