2025 Explorer Teaser Ahead of Tomorrow's Reveal

The 20 Platinum came with paddle shifters, later one's didn't. Far as suspension changes on different drive modes, i dont believe thats the case for any Explorer including the ST. Far as I know, none of the Explorer's come with an adaption suspension option so its impossible to do that. Sports...

2025 Explorer Teaser Ahead of Tomorrow's Reveal

Not the point, at this point its becoming DLC. Reminds me of BMW when they were in the process of charging yearly? for heated seats. If the item is already in the car and build with it, I dont see any reason of paying more on top of the car. Just dont put it to the car to begin with, most...

2025 Explorer Teaser Ahead of Tomorrow's Reveal

There will be ways around it, Dodge has their PCM encrypted to make it harder for tunes, still do-able. Worst case scenario, will need to swap out PCM for an unlocked one to tune it I remember reading Cadillac I believe? Can set the ECU back to stock with OTA update on certain models. Wouldnt...

How-To: Swap Bench 2nd row to Captains Chairs with Console

Yes and no, depends on the year, they were standard in 20 but became an option after for 21+ Not sure what year is OP's nor what options he had.

How-To: Swap Bench 2nd row to Captains Chairs with Console

I think his question was to OP's original bench seat, which they do come heated if equipped properly. Only the side one's not the middle one.

Ford esp at dealer cost, 20% down with 18 months no interest!!

Yup, been known for a while. Other places as well, Zeigler and Ford Flood have a similar payment structure. Granger is usually the cheapest but not always. Also, California and Florida are no go since March 2023.

You also need to replace the control module and that needs to be reprogrammed. I dont think anyone has done it soo far, it's been asked before but thats about it

2025 Explorer Teaser Ahead of Tomorrow's Reveal

Surprised they still didnt include the Adaptive headlights on the ST, they are quite a bit brighter/better light pattern on the Platinum as they have projector housings which the ST dont have. Looks like they no longer offer a 2nd row bench on the ST or the Platinum with the 3.0l, thats a huge...

2024 Ford Explorer Refresh Fully Revealed

2025 Explorer Teaser Ahead of Tomorrow's Reveal

Ton of great points! Screen wise, i was perfectly fine with the current 10 inch screen, just not vertical... I hate the oversized Mach-E/ Expedition tablet or anything close to it. IMO, 13 inch is borderline for me, anything bigger probably be a pass for me. Is there a list of what is missing...

2025 Explorer Teaser Ahead of Tomorrow's Reveal

I'm still iffy about the front. But that interior is so much better especially the screen

2024 Ford Explorer Refresh Fully Revealed

Well... Maybe my mind is changing. That interior looks soooo much nicer!!! And love the new cluster gauge, glad they didn't go the Sync 4 gauges. I think it looks great. Lower towing though .....

    ST vs. The Competition

Poorly worded by me, you are correct, but thats no different than any other tune. The point of Mr CatholicFireDude is the FP tune retains the full new warranty while others "dont". Outside of the 3/36, all tunes are a gamble on the powertrain warranty including the FP Tune.

    ST vs. The Competition

But it voids the longer 5/60 powertrain warranty that the 392 and stock ST would still have.....

    ST vs. The Competition

This! Im sure already lost his warranty by now LOL 392 or stock ST would still retain its drivetrain for a couple more years/miles

    AFe vs S&B

S&B looks easier to install and looks nicer as well. I bet it also makes more noise as well, thats a plus on my book

    2022 Ford Explorer Platinum ST

Interesting to hear that you prefer the tech on the Explorer. Sync 3 IMO is one of the worst and slowest auto UI vs the rest of the top auto makers. Dodge's UI is certainly one of the best, fastest, and easiest to use. I do love my massagers though lol Did the Durango drive much harsher?

miles per gallon as per the lie o meter

Almost every car from every brand ive driven (Cadillac, Ford, Chevy, BMW, etc) is usually off by 2~ MPG on 70%+ city driving. 70%+ on highway driving is usually 1/2 mpg off or closer. Been the case for my Explorer as well
