    Recall Rear Axle Bolt

It is mildly annoying to me to hit the button or hit the gas. When hitting the gas it always feels like it jerks while it releases. Seems to me since it is all just programming they could release the parking brake as soon as you shift out of park. Then again they probably have to protect...

418 hp 3.0L Bronco Raptor is slowwwwwww ...

My CTSV weightd 4200lbs and had 700 wheel horsepower with lots of low end torque. THAT was a performance sports car IMO. Explorer ST is GREAT in class but not a a performance car IMO. Don't get me wrong, I love my ST, but if I were looking for a performance car an Explorer would NOT have been...

    Checking in from Philly

Welcome. Last time I was in Philly was for a Celtics Sixers game in the 80's I did not feel the brotherly love in the cheap seats with my loud mouthed girlfriend's friend in a Celtics dress.

418 hp 3.0L Bronco Raptor is slowwwwwww ...

I wouldn't call a stock ST boring. The test drive is what got me to buy one. Having said that, it is not what I would consider a performance vehicle in stock form. Fortunately that can be improved upon(y)

    Mishimoto's Performance Intercooler R&D Thread

Might be a dumb question but does powdercoating effect heat transfer? I always thought bare aluminum was better than painted but never considered powdercoating.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Looks great! Looking forward to details of your major audio upgrade! Have to say I get much more enjoyment driving my ST now that I have good sound! While many are happy with the oem stereo, I found it sorely lacking in both quality and volume. Was delivering some material to a customer and...

Pre orders Wide Body and Front Splitter

I agree, I'm using large washers on both sides as well. Still hoping I can get under there from the screws holding the bottom of the clip. Haven't looked at it since the WHipple install so not sure.

Pre orders Wide Body and Front Splitter

I did not receive any instructions with mine. I was hoping I could avoid removing the clip again. Planning on drilling holes and using rivnuts.

    Excessive brake dust

My CTSV had horrible brake dust but great brakes. I used the spray on wheel protectant and it helped keep them a little cleaner and the dust sprayed off easy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Ceramic coating - Avalon King

Used Avalon King on a few vehicles. One a mostly garaged 66 Mustang any my Explorer. The Florida Mustang gets out for a week of driving 4 times a year. It is 2 years since the treatment and it still looks like the day I did it. Had it on my Explorer for 3 months but it seems to be holding up...

    Excessive brake dust

I have not noticed excessive brake dust on mine. Black wheels that get washed often.

    Rear ford emblem removal

It is held on with doublesided tape and two pins. I used a trim tool to get under the edge and start prying working my way around. Heat helps if the tape is really stuck. Once the tape starts to let go the pins will pop out. On mine there was a tiny but of deformation around one of the pin...
