I can't help solve this problem but thought I would share a chuckle. I got a new golf cart. Went for a drive and it had lighted cup holders. I immediately lol'ed and thought of my Explorer. Sure would be nice to have them in the ST!

I painted my Whipple on front with Eastwood radiator paint. Supposedly it has good thermal characteristics and spray thin coats.

Yes but it depends. Worst case it voids your drivetrain warranty. Some dealers are more accommodating than others.

I've noticed a few tiny chips already. Likely doing the same for the front clip. We get sand and gravel trucks around here dumping their load as they drive on the highway:mad:

Finally got my CF splitter installed. Also painted my hitch cover black. Needs some wet sanding and a clear coat.

Much prefer the look of no plate. I ran no front plate on my CTSV and only got pulled over once for it. My wife has not run one since 2017 and has had no problems. Might have to do this!

I have been hesitant to totally beat on my ST in the past because of the 3 bolt fiasco. Now that I'm good to go the tune is going in next week and some flogging will commence.

I like the concept, not the price.

I just checked mine out closely. I ordered textured but not sure I like it. Fortunately there are no imperfections that I can see. So if I want smooth it should just take some sanding and maybe one coat of filler. Wish I knew what color the other smooth plastic is. Would be nice to get it close...

Just got mine and I am thinking of doing the same. A good sanding, some adhesion promoter, and a filler epoxy prime should allow sanding smooth.
